I have buttloads of housework to do this weekend.

Joe's sisters are having a cookout for Father's Day on Sunday, which will put Joe in a crazy bad mood since his dad's being a jerk (shocking, I know). Drama City, I'm sure.

Hannah and I are going to Walmart in a few minutes to get a craft to make for Joe. I have a hard time getting into Father's Day, since Joe couldn't give to sh!ts about holidays, gifts, and all that, and well, yeah I just don't like the holiday, but I am trying to fake it until I make it for Joe, lol. No need for him to pay for my daddy issues for his entire life, lol.

Man, I'm in a stellar mood today. I better go run my errands, lol.

COuld you find my Joe a really awesome Father-to-be card. I can't find a good one anywhere. I can't even find a decent poem online LOL.

With your creativity and talent, I am sure you could make one that is so much better than anything you can find.

LOL thanks but I am not great with words and I am looking for something really sappy and awesome. I want him to cry LMAO

To the Father-to-be:

Thanks for rubbing one out
In me, not into some tissues
You'll be a great parent,
Don't worry - No issues!
We'll teach our kid things
Like saying "Wicked" and "Hella"
She'll be a sweet girl, or a handsome young fella

I'd shout my love from the roof top,
But I'd hate to cause a scene
Not to mention we'll love this baby
Until it's a teen.
Then we'll want to shank out
Our own precious eyes.
But until then I'm thankful, that you are my guy.

There ya go.

lmao.

No, now I'll actually search around. Do you have a Hallmark? Ours is huge and always has the more unique cards.

OMFG

I had to bite my lip to stop from bursting out in laughter at my desk.

I am so totally giving him this, with your author credit along with the sappiness I require.

I do have a hallmark. I always forget it's there. I'll see if I can't get a ride down there tonight.  I was hoping to accomplish this yesterday so I could mail it to his house but I'm probably just gonna give it to him when he gets here next week.

lmao

Glad you enjoyed.

Which reminds me I haven't harrassed Joe in a while.

I'm going to do that really quickly.

brb.

hehehe.

Seriously, you just made my day. You are so effin funny. I love it! Now figure out a way to come to Vegas this year.

I wish!

I always have good intentions, but then life gets in the way. And not cool parts of life... namely just being broke as sh!t. That part of life, lmao.

I'll be getting out there eventually to meet everyone... and then you'll be saying, "Wth did I get myself in to?" lol ;)

Not exactly.

I mean, yes, it blocked my creativity on which to harrass your man.

But, I used that creativity to think about what instrument I'd play in an emo band if I still had issues with thinging my life sucked and my parents were ruining my life.

Waiiiiiit, a minute. I'm like halfway to an emo band already. Hmmm.....

Perhaps.

But, it's hot and I'm bored... and I like a real challenge.

It's a deadly combo.

Ask (my) Joe, who's ringtone on his phone is actually me saying "Nag. Nag. Nag... Nag... Nagggg!"

Good morning!

What's up this weekend?

I haven't done this in forever! LOL

Been here, there, and everywhere. Busy helping DH! He let me put a starter together for a Cub Cadet mower he was fixing. :) I felt like a super woman. Maybe a slight redneck-ish! LOL We're waiting on a job for DH but I'm not allowed to tell b/c DH thinks its bad luck if we share the news with ppl. He thinks it won't come true! LOL

I think I'll be sad when he goes back to work b/c I've gotten used to him being home. But! I start school in the fall- finally! I've got to get a bachelors before I can go to seminary school so I'm going to UNC-A (hopefully if they accept me!) for psychology and religious studies. And then seminary! Woohoo! Then as long as I'm not crazy, etc I'll be ordained in 8 years! Such a crazy life calling but its a call I just have to answer.

Anyway- this weekend is a whole lotta nothing. Just lazing around. Miss Addy is an early riser (think 6:30) so DH gets up with her and then an hour or two later brings me coffee to wake me up. Such a good man! Sunday is church and hanging out together as a family. Simple and low key since our 6 year wedding anniversary is the following week we're just taking it easy on the celebrations.
