Good morning!

I am going to breakfast with other moms from preschool today. It's E's last day for this year. Next year most of her friends will be in kindergarten. It's exciting but also a little sad. Why do they grow up so fast?

I am sorry, but I can't answer your question Robin, but it is a good one. Do you have anything planned with the boys today?

I think the only one I have watched is Grey's.

Well I watched the ABC Wednesday Comedy ones too but those were no big deal, just last episodes although Cougar Town was really good.

There is absolutely no part of me that wants to be at work right now.

I am tired and hella emotional and just want to go home. I did find out I get holiday pay for Monday even though I don't usually work that day YAY!!!!

The boys and I went to Chuck E. Cheese this morning and met the rest of my family, then I left to go to lunch with my friend.

My parents took my boys home with them afterward.

Right now, the little boys from across the street are playing in our backyard, and my kids want John (my nephew) to come over to play in a little while.

Yay for unexpected income!

I stopped by my church today to finish something I started on Monday, and when I walked through the office, they gave me another paycheck.

I didn't realize my last one didn't go through the end of the school year.

So yay!

I know the season was over months ago but Dexter is still by far the best season finale. I thought the Grey's finale was good too.

Ugh. I am invited to a graduation party tomorrow. I do want to go but I don't have extra money for a gift - well not enough that I want to give actual cash, kwim? She is not going to college so all those cute, somewhat inexpensive little gift ideas are out. I don't know what to do. By inexpensive I mean 10 dollars max. I have several other graduates that I need to get stuff for and don't know what I'm going to do!

Mark woke up throwing up this morning--twice so far.

Now he's lying on the sofa with a trash can on the floor next to him.

Yesterday, Henry complained about how awful his day was because the neighbors couldn't come over (or because we couldn't go to Chuck E. Cheese or something).

So I went on to tell him all the fun activities we've done this past week--swimming, Stevie B's, played at friend's house, nature center, played at my parents' house, swimming, Chuck E. Cheese, neighbor friends here to play, his cousin here to play, back to the nature center.

I need a vacation from summer vacation.

Mark threw up one more time about 90 minutes ago.

Now he seems to be all better.

I know Henry has church-itis but barfing is a little extreme just to get out of going to church, don't you think?

Henry was BEGGING to go to Chuck E. Cheese today but now he is quietly working on long division problems [for fun!]

So he was majorly on my nerves, and now he isn't.

I worked super-hard on my Kroger grocery list yesterday--with coupons, plans for oynos, and all that stuff.

I did save $54 which is good but I still spent $101 so not even close to a 50% savings.

Plus we have TONS of groceries now.

robin, are you stockpiling?

i wasn't really able to drastically reduce my grocery expenses until i started stockpiling regularly.

now, i really only have to shop for produce weekly and then fill in with free/cheap stuff and an occassional need that i don't already have on hand.
