I'm looking forward to swimming.

We were out of bed about 1 hour this morning before Henry asked me if we could go swim somewhere today.

Our fave swimming friend is out of town for 2 weeks.

Morning!

Mark is just finishing installed my new front load washer and dryer! Woo hoo for laundry that takes less than 2.5 hours per load!!

So I have been really wanting to go to Disney for years. So now that the free dining is happening in October I asked if my parents and brother's family wanted to go. They're in, but now I can't convince Mark. I know it's $$$, but it is my favorite place on the planet and I want to go when the kids are still little so they can really buy into all the magic. I got us flights, hotels, hopper passes, and the meal plan for $3500 for a week. I didn't think that was too outrageous.

How can I convince DH???

Getting a dh to go anywhere is not my strong area.

How about if I go with you instead of him, then when I take my kids, you can go with me?

Deal?

Congrats on the new washer and dryer, btw.

I'm not looking forward to all the time I get to spend with both my kids all summer.

Maybe there will be a miracle and they'll get along most of the time.

I emailed Henry's 4th grade teacher (Mrs. P) and ALL the 5th grade teachers for summer reading suggestions and other ideas to help prepare for 5th grade.

Mrs. P did tell me what general Science and SS topics they'll be covering and suggested we check out some books from the library.

This morning I got a super-long, super-helpful reply from one of the 5th grade teachers with a more detailed list of 5th grade topics, a recommendation to do the public library's summer reading program, some ideas of book series about the topics they'll be studying, and she suggested we go ahead and read the novel they'll be reading at the beginning of next school year. Plus she said Henry should review his multiplication facts.

I love helpful teachers with good, concrete suggestions.

Now let's hope Henry can get on board with extra work.

"Chatting with Robin" is pretty slow today.

I guess all of you have lives.

The boys and I watched "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" this morning.

It was really good.

Now we can answer 75% of the questions on our Disney Scene It game correctly.

Fo what I'm looking forward to this summer; I think it's obvious for me, baby is coming Aug 2nd. So, that'll be a highlight. wink.gif

Want to go swimming, but IDK if that'll happen. Steve said he'd clean out a horse trough for me... He was serious. *sigh* Love to go on a trip to the beach, but since I get too tired to eat if I stand up and make a full meal, I doubt I can waddle from the car to the ocean.

Totally tempted to tell him to stay at home.  But I don't think that will fly.

Glen took the kids to see "Alice in Wonderland" at the discount theater.

It started at 7:05.

They should be home by now.

I did get some cleaning done plus I watched two whole episodes of Dexter.

That is a great show.

I'm so glad we got a trial of Cinemax (or whatever) long enough to dvr the whole season.

Dexter is fantastic. I think it's HBO. Are you catching up on the last season? You need to get to the end. It is amazing. Fantastic. Can't say enough great things about it. One of the best shows and best season finales I've ever seen.

:wave

I'm home from MA *sigh* I only cried a little when I left so I guess that's an improvement.

So it turns out he told pretty much all of his "crew". What's funny is as close as this group is they do not ever repeat each others secrets so because none of them knew who knew and who didn't I was approached one by one by all of his friends and I didn't even know he told them all LOL.

They are all super excited and have welcomed me into the group with such open arms that it makes me saddies that I can't move up there instead of Joe moving here.

Most likely, but ultimately the chance of him winning that fight is small. It is only 2 hours and he barely sees Lucas anyway.  I won't leave Travis though.

I'm waiting for Kelley (sil) to pick me up.

She's going to the movies with Kimberly and me this evening.

We're going to see "Letters to Juliet".

Hope it's good.
