If you have a granite countertop what color is it?  Is it a solid color or one with lots of colors?  would you recommend lots of colors or a more solid?  The ones with several colors gives us lots of options for the backsplash which will be all tile.

We are going to get a new countertop - not granite, Silstone quartz which is very similar to granite.  I'm having the hardest time deciding on a color.

Here is a link to the company we're going to use.

The colors we like are the Sierra Madre, Mountain Mist, Sienna Ridge. I kinda like the ebony pearl.

I don't know if we should go light or dark.  Our appliances are stainless and black.
you can see the color of our cabinets in the background and we're not changing the cabinets.  We will be changing the flooring.

My opinion, I'd go with African Red of Coffee Brown. That's just my style though. I would try to find one that looks good with your cabinets and not worry about the black appliances. Anything will look good with those.

Of the ones that you like I'd choose Sierra Madre.

The only thing I'd say stay away from is a flat black. We had a version of that in our first place and it was beautiful but it showed every little crumb and piece of dust. I spent so much time wiping it down.
