We are heading into Boston for a very quick trip for my cousin's confirmation. We are trying to carve out time for an outing. Would you recommend the Aquarium, or Boston Childrens? I'm inclined to say Childrens, but Travis is obsessed with Aquariums. Thoughts? We'd be there on a Sunday if that makes a difference for crowds.

Childrens Museum, definitely. Unless the kids wouldn't mind being contained to a double stroller all day the Aquarium is a freaking nut house on the weekends. The Childrens Museum was recently redone and is awesome. Actually, Sonya and I met up there when the kids were younger and I *think* she would probably say the same. I really can't say enough good things about the Children's Museum. Have you ever been to either??
I posted this on fb but with our local science museume membership, we get free admission to the children's museum in boston and the science museum (but not the aquarium).
we also get access to your children's museum so I'd imagine your pass would get you access in Boston.
Science museum and Aquarium are easiest to get to on public transportation.
the kids LOVED the children's museum - we only got to do one part but they had a blast. Josie was only .... 1? not even 1 (Grace was 1) and Charlie and Connor were almost 3 and they all had a ball.
I like the aquarium but its a lot of walking and looking and like Corey said, it can be a mad house.
If you wanted to sight see instead, I loved the duck tours.
If you want free (or free-ish) the Boston Common has a big playground and a merry-go-round and a water park. The Public Garden has the swan boats which are reasonable.
definitely don't do the science museum...it is way too advanced for our kids ages, imo. we have gone twice this year and all my kids wanted to do were see the butterflies, eat in the overpriced cafeteria, and stop at the gift shop.:)
