Praying for a phone call!!! I cannot imagine how hard the waiting is. Especially because you know they probably know who they are going to hire. Call already dammit!!!

Wow. I cant believe you would have to move and they still havent contacted you one way or the other. Could he call and say hes still interested and wondering where they stand with a decision.

They are still in the time frame the gave him for making a decision.

The issue is my contract here ends 5/31 unless I sign for another year. His contract there wouldn't begin until 7/1. We were planning on spending the month on June at my inlaws farm anyhow, so that part isn't a big deal, it is just packing up everything to move up to the new job an hour away and place in storage until July is what is giving me nightmares. It's good, I just don't handle the unknown super well.

I'm being really pushed to sign or state I'm not coming back form my work. I think if he doesn't get a call by Monday, he will push for a decision either way.

ugh.

Howdy!

Nothing exciting going on here. Elizabeth is doing well but still is not up to full speed since having her tonsils out. Mostly she is just tired in the afternoons which make for long afternoons. Dh is working a zillion hours so it makes the days a little longer.

Supergrover I hope you hear something soon. I keep reading your posts carefully just to be sure I don't miss it. I think I would be having a hard time with the waiting things too.

LL has Joe been able to interview for a job in your area yet?

he was supposed to have an interview tomorrow but they changed it to tuesday (he is still coming here though :) ) and he sent his resume for another one and will hopefully be able to interview with them on Tuesday also.

I'm working from home today so I can take char to primary orientation.

He was so excited but now he's nervous. I sent him to daycare for the morning since I think that will keep his mind occupied. He was super quiet this morning until he found out his bff Thomas will be going today too.

Josie is pissed off that Charlie gets to go to big boy school without her. Sorry Jo, big girl school isn't ready for the likes of you yet!

Charlie got a bag of books, colored paper, scissors, crayons, magnetic numbers and letters as a welcome to school gift and he was SO excited about that.

Jenn would it be horrible if he called and very nicely explained that he understands this process takes time but that you are in a time crunch because of your contract??

He will on Monday if he doesn't hear today. We both kida of feel that pressuring actually wouldn't help his cause, so we are giving it today. I think if he doesn't hear by 5 that he wasn't their top choice.
