so, we have been without dairy (except for that random string cheese at snack yesterday) since Monday night and as of this a.m. he was tummy ache free.  I will see how he feels when I pick him up today.

I'm sort of excited that his tummy aches have stopped but oh my if he is lactose intolerant that is going to involve some serious changes in his diet habits for the long term.

I know!  Seriously, not one non-dairy snack in the building?  Really, he's 4, 6 graham cracker squares would suffice!  Weird.  I took his snacks today b/c snack this a.m. was cheese crackers and the p.m. was cheese quesdillas.  The cheese crackers probably aren't even real cheese anyway evileye

It was a cheesy day at daycare I guess!

Raven was lactose sensitive when we tried to switch her from formula to cow's milk. She would get really bad diarrhea. She never had a problem with cheese or yogurt.

She is fine now.
When we gave her cow's milk again a year or so later it didn't bother her.  My kids also had issues with formulas except Goodstart.
