Good morning girls :)

Kris i'm one of those raw cookie dough eating peeps on occasion, sometimes I just crave it LOL! I am actually insanely scared of food poisoning so i'm not sure how i do it? We also indulge in some cake batter when we are baking cakes...

WOW Tracy! Congratulations!

There's probably a lot I should be doing but here I sit.

Summer plans hmmm. Second session of swim lessons for Hannah, we will continue gymnastics as she loves it, we will finish up this year of dance and I think take a break for some of next year, I think Hannah wants to try some sports, soccer, basketball, and maybe softball next spring. I know we plan on going camping and we will do some kind of overnight back to school trip for Hannah. I think that's all the budget can handle.

this summer is a lot of craziness - Tim is going to the states to New York with an American basketball friend - 2 weeks of basketball camp at Syracuse university.  During that time, Cecile is going to be in portugal on holidays with our housekeeper and her family.  I am home with the 2 youngest - will probably hit Eurodisney with my SIL and Thor and Soren during that time.

Then I fly to the US with the girls and met up with Tim and his friend Pierre at my parents for 2 weeks - planning on getting the 3 big kids in fun day camps there so i dont have to deal with them during the day LOL

then back to Lux mid-end of August we are doing a 3 week family vacation in europe somewhere. no idea where yet.  hmmmm.

then school starts - by that time i will be dead LOL.

YIPEE TRACY!!!!! I am so happy for you-your pregnancy is a great surprise!!!! heart.gif

Oh-and I love cookie dough. But I try not to let the kids eat it because of the eggs. Funny how I don't care for myself, lol.

Anyway, summer plans...well first I have to get through the end of the preschool year. I am soooooo not signing on as room mom next year. I have scrapbooks to make for the teachers, and shopping for their other gifts plus I am taking on the end of the year gifts for the director and assistant again. For the director, I am getting her a mailbox and having the kids help decorate it with their handprints (this was a class project that was raffled off at our art festival, and the director REALLY wanted it, but didn't get it-the art teacher is going to help me so that the handprints look decent, lol) and then get other gifts to fill it up.

This year end stuff is so hectic!! We also have ballet recital coming up, and the ballet pictures are this weekend. Plus my cousin is coming to visit, so we have lots going on with that too-I feel like I chicken running around with my head cut off!!

Anyway, when we get through all of this junk, we do have a lot we want to accomplish this summer. First order of business is the siding. It has to be done. I think Bill is going to maybe do it himself, but he is afraid of heights, so he is trying to figure out a cheap way of having someone else do it. Also, we have to repaint the front of the house (only the side and back have siding-the front is brick on the bottom, then stucco and boards on the top-it is a silly tudor style complex-not that tudor is silly, but it is on these townhouses).

We also want to re-do our powder room-we have the paint, fixtures and tile, we just need a new vanity. We have been meaning to do this for a long time, lmao.

And we want to re-surface the kitchen-get new cabinet doors and hardware, paint, MAYBE new counters. I'd like to get a new oven as well, but after being in the hospital and getting sued and having the siding, I think that will have to wait. Which is fine.

I think that is all that we will reasonably accomplish this summer. Even those few things will end up being a lot for us, lmao.

As for vacas, we will probably go to Ocean City again, but we don't have other plans. Our 10 year anniversary is this fall, and I'd like to do something for that with Bill, but he is not interested, the bum. He wants to buy something we both want rather than go somewhere.

Yup-he is a real romantic.

I'm not giving in-I want a long weekend, dang it. I know I won't be getting diamond anything, so I want to get some time away instead!!

I walked on the treadmill today. It was the first time in a LOOOONG time. I only ended up doing 22 minutes, but it is a start!!

It felt good to do it. And since Bill bought me this thing to use so I can use headphones to listen to the TV, it is much nicer. I can turn it up so I can hear it over the loud treadmill (ours is quite old), and I don't have to worry about the noise distrupting naptime-which is normally does.

That alone might get me on the treadmill a lot more often. Which I NEED. I am so fat and disgusting after being on prednisone for so long. I have a lot of work to do on my weight.

I have been terrible about keeping up over here. I need to do better with that. I'm becoming one of those people who is just on FB!

Jenn, I am really praying Travis gets this job. I must say, you seem to be handling the whole thing very well!! All this waiting is so hard...

it was lovely having them with me last week but this is bliss! Wine, steak, king sized bed, no bedtime craziness!

I need to go to the gym.

I just ate a blue cheese crusted bacon wrapped fillet mignion.

it was A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

but I'm still fat. :)

Traveling is not helping my diet.
