Saw a clip on this tonight on the news. Thanks for the link. The news only mentioned a couple of things.

Kristi, I don't think thats the worst thing i've ever heard by any stretch. The recall is so vague! It's frustrating. I get that they may not have answers but they are saying it has not caused any adverse reactions and I don't know the whole thing is really irritating to me. My kids have been taking like 4 of those medications over the past few months and i've not seen any problems and they've worked effectively so I don't know what to think. I did stop using them but we are already missing them. I think Bryson is getting sick again and I count on some of those products. Anyhow end ramble to say I might be using some of mine too...

I gave Lucas motrin last week when he complained his throat was hurting and he started throwing up an hour later for about 6 hours straight. I checked and it was on the recall list....

I'll be giving ours the chewable tablets for now until they prove to also somehow be terrible for children.

So stressful. I feel like every day, something I use is recalled or bad for you or causes cancer.

I was hearing about a change pampers made to their insides that was causing reactions in some babies.

These are products i trust and now I'm a basket of stress about everything.

Plus, I'm having allergies to all types of products - if I use regular shampoos/gels, etc, my head breaks out in sores. If I go organic, my face breaks out in painful pimples. I'm going to be down to a bar of soap and frizzy dry hair pretty soon.

Arrrrrrgggghhhhhhh

IDK if you'll check this, but I had a problem years ago with shampoo. Turns out I was allergic to Chamomile. It made my head itch and made me break out. Lots and lots of organic shampoos have it.

The organics just give me face breakouts - I suspect the olive oil in the conditioner - I'm super sensitive to face creams, etc. The head sores are (I think- my medical degree is still in the mail) related to some compound in expensiver shampoos/conditioners/gels. The more I pay, the more it hurts. They use Revlon at my salon and I have to come right home and wash my hair and I still get sores (but I love my hairdresser).

Useless. Who's allergic to shampoo?

I'm in denial over it, but I think I'm developing an allergy to shampoo.  And a lot of soaps.  and detergents.  I've had increasingly angry skin this year, and several still unexplained hives breakouts.  But if I pretend it isn't the case, it will just go away, right ;)  Just buy me a plastic bubble and get it over with.

too bad we didn't live closer.

we could buy shampoos and soaps together and save some money. i've spent a fortune trying to find something that doesn't irritate.
