GM- wow Robin, that is a hard one. It is killing me to see how much of the 80s my students are wearing again. (spandex...noooooooooooooooo)
Back then, I super loved jelly shoes and bracelets. I probably would still like jelly bracelets. I just think 1-2 are cute. Maybe not the 100 at once I styled back in the day. Oh, I also used to super love what we called chinese shoes (I'm thinking those aren't actually what they were called), basically super cheap mary-jane wannabes.
Koda decided before 6am was an awesome wake up time.
I didn't adjust our morning schedule accordingly. We got ready at the same pace we normally do. Meaning we are just sitting here waiting until his preK opens almost an hour before it does.
I wasn't kidding about the naked bikers on earth day

It has become very apparent to me that I have been too in charge of cleaning for way to long. I can't help but thinking how unsanitary that would be and how it would have to be cleaned up.
I loved the 80's despite the fact that I was too young to fully appreciate it. I LOVED the socks. You know multiple pairs layered on top of each other and then pushed down and bunched around your ankles LOL
Last night we discovered exactly what happens when you put regular laundry detergent into a HE washer. Ours is a front loader so we also got to watch it progress. I ended up having to scoop out a huge laundry basket full of bubbles. Too bad E was in bed. She would have had lots of fun playing in the bubbles.
Granted, this science experiment was not intentional. I am not sure which one of us did it, but we thought we had bought the HE laundry detergent. Guess what I am going to go buy today?
my favorite trend was definitely leg warmers. i had tons of different pairs and wore them daily until in 4th grade some boy i liked asked me if i always wore leg warmers because i was a gymnast i felt like an idiot after that and never wore them again.
i also really loved my hair crimper. it had all sorts of different plates you could switch depending on what type of crimp you wanted.

i cannot wait for april vacation to be over. atleast in the summer there are plenty of outdoor options, but right now the kids are going stir crazy. connor isn't used to being home every day and grace isn't used to being stuck with her brother every day;)
i am so tired of refereeing the two of them. i think we will get dressed and go to dunkin donuts--i am too lazy to put a kcup in the keurig this morning. (plus i think the baby wants a donut) ;)
Let's see, tapered jeans, big t-shirts with rolled up sleeves, high top reboks, thick, colored socks, benetton rugbies, stretch pants with stirrups....
For the guys all they needed to complete their wardrobes were a pair of 501 button fly levis, some polo shirts, a hooded sweatshirt and a few splashes of polo cologne. Think Jake Ryan. Yummy!
Blue eyeshadow... or even better - electric neon crazy bright blue mascara. Awesomesauce.
I love the 80s. *sigh*
I went to drop Hannah off at school this morning and forgot I volunteered to drive for the field trip. Awesome, since I wasn't really dressed to even get out of the car. Also, I am getting my first breakout on my face. Like, ever. I want to barf. I've had little pimples occasionally, but my face and neck are erupting into zits that hurt, and I want to cry.
I want to go see Kick-Ass with Joe tonight, but he's sick, so I hope he feels better by the time he gets home from work.
It is only mildly stalker-ish that I tracked down the headmasters facebook page, learned it was completely open, and am daily following his posts so I can see when he gets back to the states and can make a hiring decision on Travis's job, right?
