matt is working late (as in probably will be home around midnight) tonight and tomorrow night.

this is the longest week ever.

school is completely ridiculous. i cannot wait until june 22nd.

i have parents emailing me out the wazoo b/c they have just recently decided that they want their kid to graduate even though he hasn't done anything for the past 6 months.

another one emailing me b/c her son is not being productive with his one-to-one tutor in the library during study hall. guess who is NOT her one-to-one tutor - ME. so wtf am i the one getting the emails. idfk.

the icing on the cake is that my fave student who has a 15 month old daughter and dead beat parents told me today that her dad (who has refused to allow her to get a job this year) is also refusing to pay the deposit for the school she and i worked our azzes off to get her into (b/c she can bring her daughter to school with her there) b/c he has "other priorities." i (along with another teacher) will now be paying her deposit. please, someone tell me how parents can be so selfish?

matt is working late again.

i have 4 piles of quizzes to grade (2 quizzes for 2 classes), but i'm not feeling it, even though it would feel so good to have those off my plate.

i am having tater tots topped with cheese and sour cream for dinner. :oink:

i did not feel like cooking and i saw the tots in the freezer, so that was easy.

idk if anyone remembers, but when i was pregnant with smalls (aka, jake

), i could not get enough tater tots (along with ramen, asparagus and roasted red potatoes). :crazy:

April that is such a terrible story about your student, you are such an amazing teacher.

Nikki's deposit is due for school and I am doubtful her father is going to pay it. Being stuck in Italy for an extra week has completely emptied her bank account and I actually had to deposit money for her today so she has $$ for food (Joe gave me most of it

) I got majorly screwed financially in court and I cannot help her with the deposit so I am hoping she has a paycheck waiting for her when she gets home.

5 is planning on turning nikki's world upside down when she gets home. There are parts I agree with but I just dont know that it needs to be handled the way he is planning on handling (threats and what not). He is going to end up making her miserable to the point that I am gonna have to tell her to go live with him because I am not going to let her make me miserable in return. It's a very tough unique situation where a step child wants to remain with a non biological parent and the court and legal aid have acted like they have never heard of such a thing.
