Another iPod iTunes Question

My desktop crashed (which is where I had all my itunes music) and no I didn't backup... 

I also have a laptop. My iPod has a ton of songs on there. Before I download iTunes to my laptop I was wondering if there is there anyway to get my songs off of my iPod and onto my laptop?

I haven't added any new music to my iPod since my desktop crashed because I am scared that doing so will delete what I have on my iPod now and then there will be no way to add the songs back on.
