It depends on what I am doing. If I am actually swimming, then I am all about a pool. I do really love the sound of the waves and the calm of the beach on the ocean, but don't like to do more than wade in the water. Also it does a fabulous job of exfoliating my feet.
Supergrover, I sent E to school all stuffy and am pretty certain it's allergies too. I didn't want to give her anything until after she gets home in case I am wrong.
Roxana, good luck to Manuel! Please let us know how it goes.
LL it sounds like you are in for a great weekend.
Not exactly, he is leaving in the morning
Today was his only day off this week and probably next week since he took the 19th and 20th off to be here with me the day before and day of court. Actually he is off next Friday but it's his mom's birthday so I won't see him again until the 19th
But we will get to spend and amazing afternoon/night together and that is all that's important

I remember those days. Sometimes it can seem like forever. When I was dating Robert he was in Illinois or Ohio and I was in Florida. The good thing about the distance is you end up doing lots of talking and really getting to know what the other person thinks and feels about things. There is only so much phone sex one can do.

We spend hours and hours talking, we have to make each other get off the phone at night and usually it's like 3am.
It's funny you guys are talking about allergies. I'm going to make an appt for Andrew next week. Steve has tons of allergies, and it looks like Andrew's getting them too.
The very worst thing is, there are 2 people besides church and school that have ever watched Andrew. One of them has cats. Which Andrew loves and, naturally, Steve is severly allergic too. When we leave her house, we have to hop in the shower and throw our clothes straight into the washer. The last 3 times we've gone over, Andrew has looked like he's getting a cold when we leave. They watched him play with their nephew on Sat for 1.5 hours while I tried to get some cleanning done. When I walked over to get him, his eyes were so puffy, his eyes and nose were running, he was sneezing. Why she didn't call me, IDK... I'd think with red, swollen eyes...anyway...
So, I'm thinking besides getting hit with the pollen, he's got cat allergies. I told him we'd take him to the Dr to see if there is anything they can do for it. Does anyone know, is it a blood draw or a prick test for cats? He has to have a blood draw for the clotting thing Steve has so I want to do it at the same time if it's a blood draw...

I recommend getting a referral to an allergist. They will likely do a blood draw, and then also do a prick test. They will take a board with all sorts of allergens and press it on his back. It sounds horrible, but it is only a second and by doing it that way, it isn't a whole bunch of pricks spread over time. Then you wait about 20 minutes and they see what you react to.
I am a pool girl. We go to the beach some, but I don't care for getting sand everywhere. And I despise laying out. I can sometimes manage with a book, but I find it to be one of the most boring things ever, since I don't like to get a lot of sun.
I am ignoring my children, lol. Not because they are being bad-I am just tired and not ready to spring them yet.
They don't care-Anna likes having time to play with her toys by herself in her room. Sometimes when I go up and tell her she can get up, she stays in there. BUT, then Kate comes in and soon the bickering begins...
I think all of the pollen is bothering me this year too-I have a lot of sinus pressure.
It is annoying.
You know, we went to Target this morning-again-and I wanted a rug that they were out of, so i went to CS to ask if they had more. The guy was like, "I can't look it up without an item number."
Ok, well, aren't there people who work here who could find that information out for you and THEN you could look it up? It was like his brain was on off. He told me I had to go find the item #. I was like, um...no, I don't.
Needless to say, no rug. But I eventually found out that one of the other stores has it, so maybe I'll go up there tomorrow.
I made a sausage and cheese quiche today. I love them. I know they are not good for me though-but I had this sausage in there that really needed to be used up, and milk that was about to go bad, so I went for it.
I usually just cut it and freeze the pieces. It is really good.
I am clearly talking to myself here...and I am ok with that.
We have pizza night tonight. I really should go get the girls up because I need to switch out Kate's clothes in her room. It is currently a HUGE mess in there with the bins out and clothes everywhere. I could get that done before we go to the farm.
But I don't feel like doing it. Bill has been noisy every morning this week and I am not well rested. I really think sometimes he gets in these moods where he doesn't like being the only one up in the house and he makes a lot of noise on purpose to wake someone up. (me, usually, but sometimes the kids too-which really irritates me) This morning he was dropping crap all over the place.

We saw an allergist a couple of years ago. Andrew reacted with something he ate, swelled up. At the time there wasn't an ambulance station nearby, so it would take about an hour to get one. I gave him 25 mgs of benedryl, while calling the Dr, and rushed him down to the ER. It was so scary. I was passing people down the hill, which in these curvy mountian roads, I never do.
He's allergic to sweet peppers, like Steve, and heirloom tomatoes. Like yellow, brandywine... He can eat pizza with sause, but, he had had pizza from Whole Foods. I guess they use fancy stuff...
I was just going to call that guys office and have him look at Andrew. Before it was a blood draw. It sucked. So, I want to get it done at the same time as the hemetologist has to do her work.
