I love the idea of the beach, but then I dislike the sand getting everywhere, and how hot it gets (and the water is so cold up here).

So, I think I've morphed into a pool girl.

I enjoy spending time at the beach collecting shells, walking, etc.  Swimming, all pool.

I live 5 minutes car ride to a beach and I'm a pool girl!

I just don't like salty water.

Today we are getting things ready to go to a swimming competition during the weekend.
The site is two hours away so we stay there overnight.  Manuel (my oldest) is very anxious since they are selecting Puerto Rico Swimming Team.  I don't thell him that I'm more nervous than him!!

He has a good chance to make it!  THe final selection is at the end of April.

So before going i have to finish cleaning the house and everything...

Sunny day down here... 75 degrees...

I LOOOOOOVE the beach. Everything about it even the sand. Our water is not the nicest though, I will swim in it but prefer swimming in a pool up here in New England. Now down in Florida or the Carribean I am all about the ocean.

Childrens Claritin or Childrens Zyrtec.  What's the difference?  Any recommendations?  I have the boys on daily claritin due to allegy hell over here, but I'm wondering if zyrtec would be better?

It is so bad that Tristen in particular has also been needed Benedryl.  It has been awful.

GM girls.

I prefer the beach, but I'm pretty sure that's only because we don't have them here, so it means I'm on vacation. It's been YEARS since I've been to the beach.

they actually work better on both, I give the zyrtec at night, clariten in the morning

They work on different triggers, so the combination of the two works best!

I really have no preference, beach, pool, lake, whatever

I just like soaking up the sun and being on/in the water!

Thank you so much!  This season seems worse that others.  I can't seem to get on top of it with these poor boys.  Tristen is just a wreck.

Good morning!

It depends on what I am doing.  If I am actually swimming, then I am all about a pool.  I do really love the sound of the waves and the calm of the beach on the ocean, but don't like to do more than wade in the water.  Also it does a fabulous job of exfoliating my feet. lmao.gif

Supergrover, I sent E to school all stuffy and am pretty certain it's allergies too.  I didn't want to give her anything until after she gets home in case I am wrong.

Roxana, good luck to Manuel!  Please let us know how it goes.

LL it sounds like you are in for a great weekend. smile

Well then, you two need to get yourselves over to a nice ocean front beach and give your feet some good exfoliation.  At this point you should be able to claim it as a medical expense.  It is medically necessary to keep your feet in shape so you don't have planters warts and such. wink
