laura, speaking of potty first, last week i took the kids to mcd's for dinner when matt was working late. i didn't realize that one of the schools was doing a fundraiser there, so it was PACKED.

we get outside with our food and jake says "i have to go potty!" so we ran back inside. when we came back out, another little girl was standing there eating jake's nuggets. lmfao. her mom was MORTIFIED. she ran back in to buy him another pack, but the line was SO long it took like 15 minutes.

hilarious.

omg, lmfao!!!  I would about die!!!  Was Jake upset about his nuggets? That is hysterical!!!!

How many do your kids eat, btw?  Kate gets the 4 piece and that is always fine, but Anna will scarf down a 6 piece in no time flat! (I made her get the 4 today though because they had popcorn in target)

We are supposed to get rain here tonight and then it is supposed to cool off. Thank GOD. It has been record breakingly hot here and I am NOT ready. I need spring, not summer.

And we had to turn the a/c on because our house has such bad cross ventilation.

I also like Robin and hoping it will wash away the pollen, which is BRUTAL.

Robin, that is crazy about your mom's neighbor's house!!

we've had the a/c on for a while, but we got rain and a cold front last night and i had to turn the heater back on today, lol

LOL-that will probably be us too-it is supposed to be a high of like 60 tomorrow.  Which is great by me!!!  I am NOT ready for 90 degree days-and everyone is just going crazy it seems-traffic has been awful, people aren't paying attention to where they are going, etc.  The heat has people all sorts of wacked out!!

The last time I made it, I used mayo and dijon and lemon juice, and a couple other things, I think.  It was really good!

I have not had miracle whip in like...forever.  I am not even sure what it tastes like anymore.

I just saw a recipe for shrimp and egg salad-that sounded good.  of course it was also topped with crumbled bacon, lol.  Yeah-not so good for the waist, I guess.

I am tapering off the prednisone, and it sucks. And I have had some gas pains the past few days that worry me-but it might be that I have been doing too much and letting myself get a little stressed.

I need to chill out.

your gas pains are probably related to the boiled eggs you've been eating

lmao-you might be right about that!!!

I have a tendency to overthink every twinge and pain I have anymore-I am so afraid of backtracking and getting sicker again.  I want to stay in remission for a long time!!!

supa, emily usually eats a 4 piece or a cheeseburger. jake can eat a 6 piece on a good night.

most times, i get a 10 piece and let them split it. then i get a small fry and an order of apples and they split those.

I sometimes do that too with the 10 piece meal.  Today I let them get meals-they always get the apples (but they don't split-Anna scarfs those down too and would not be happy to have to share!) and they split my fries with me.  Anna won't eat too many fries, but Kate loves them, lol.  Kate is my salty girl and Anna has a huge sweet tooth (she would just drink the caramel if I let her).

And if Anna gets a cheeseburger, she only wants the cheese and the burger-NO condiments of any kind, lol.

SG eats a #10 at Wendy's..

That would be 10 chicken nuggets plus fries

maybe that's why she weighs 57 lbs...lol

I know!  She'll be 15 months the 19th!  I can't believe it!

Her pedi's probably going to fuss because she's only gained 2 lbs since her 1 year checkup, she put her on pediasure then..but what can I do?  She's SOOOOO picky and she has days she won't hardly eat anything.'

But then like today for lunch she ate an entire grilled cheese sandwhich

Plus she NEVER stops!!  She's always going, she's a climber and she's ALWAYS BUSY!

I don't think you have any reason to worry about her-those kids are really busy at that age.  I tell ya, I don't really miss that stage.  I mean, they are CUTE, but they cause you so many headaches!!!  They are so self destructive at that age of discovery!!!  Cause mama to get some gray hairs, i tell ya!!!

Dinner in the works.  Tater Tot casserole.  I won't be getting points for health tonight.  At least I am using ground turkey instead of ground beef.

I actually can't remember the last time I bought ground beef.  I'm so used to turkey, I bet beef would taste funny to me now in casseroles.

We have a stand alone freezer.  I also have a husband who stocks up on food ridiculously at times when the price is right (not entirely his fault- goes back to some hunger issues in his childhood).

Anyhow, I just went in for the first time in forever.

We have 4 turkeys.  4.  Who needs 4 turkeys?  Seriously?  I didn't even know.

I pulled one out.  Looks like we are having turkey next week.  Silly man.

The pedi's daughter was always little too, so she probably won't fuss too much :)
