Good morning!

I'm feeling SO much better, so I decided to pop on and say hi.

I have to study for a test tomorrow, so I'm letting Danielle babysit. She's excited, but I think she is planning on playing Xbox the entire time I'm gone. I'm just heading over to the library, but she keeps asking me when I'm leaving, lol.

Juliette is FINALLY better. Her cough is letting up; last night was the first night in awhile that we didn't have to give her lortab before bed.

I'm so glad you all are feeling better!

Thanks!

I have a new niece and a new nephew, and I can't go snuggle either one because of this.

I'm missing all of the sweet newborn weeks!

Somehow, it seems my kitchen table is our catch all for everything..  Drives me INSANE!  I clean it off at least twice a week.

Right now it's covered in Easter candy hmm

Just have Easter candy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner today.

That should clear off your table. ;D

LOL!  I would if I wasn't doing the dieting thing.

We had a big, long thunderstorm last night.

I'm hoping it washed away all the pollen.

The lightning and thunder were LOUD.

I called my mom about something non-storm-related, and she said she was watching firemen put out a fire at her neighbor's house.

Lightning had struck a hole in their roof.

Scary.

(My mom lives in my neighborhood.)

The rain was AWESOME!

I had forgotten my van is red, and it sits under the carport, LOL

i probably should do the dishes before my parents get here - but then what would my dad do?

he comes over and does dishes - my mom does laundry. they HATE sitting still and they get too overwhelmed to take the kids out anywhere.

i guess we all have our quirks. i'm just grateful their quirks involve cleaning my house biggrin

my mom does my laundry when she babysits on Wednesdays too

who are we to deprive them of their joy wink

Good morning.

Unfortunately, our bedroom.  It is the only room the boys are not allowed into, so it is:  bedroom, gift closet, Travis's office, and storage for all medications, etc.  It also houses a huge bookcase for our books so the kids don't rip them, etc.  It is so stuffed that we can't even open the closet door fully because our bed (king) is too big for the room.

It is an episode of hoarders waiting to happen, but really, we don't have a choice in our current space.

I am so distracted with Travis's job prospect and waiting that I am a pretty awful employee right now.

The headmaster is leaving for a 2 week trip to China, so we aren't likely to hear anything until he returns, but still... it is so hard to be patient and let be what will be.  I can't help but daydream that I might be done working in 6 weeks.

How does she like the Equine Therapy???  What is it supposed to be helping??

I work in the horse industry and was talking to someone about it and she thinks I should do it with Lucas. I just need a car and some $$ LOL

It would be easier to answer what room doesn't catch crap in my house :sigh:

I am constantly running from room to room gathering toys to go to the appropriate room, clothes to go to the laundry room, dishes that need to get to the kitchen.

Maybe a catch all to hide stuff - probably my walk in closet which I can barely walk into at the moment!

I don't know why but it will seem very odd to me when you no longer live on campus!

I'm sure it will feel like you've exhaled for the first time when you finally get a place to spread out!

The counter dividing my kitchen and dining room for sure. I also put things I need to take care of quickly on my desk. Everything else goes in my room. Honestly, I don't have a lot of things that aren't put away pretty much immediately. One exception is things that need to go in the attic. It's kind of a pain to get up there so I wait until I have a lot to do anything.

Today I don't have too much to do. 2 loads of laundry, school with kids, and grading yesterday's and today's papers. Then, of course, there's the usual round of taxiing kids to and from various activities. I should do some shopping, but I'm not sure I'll have time today. Tomorrow will be a better day for that.

Well my clutter catcher is apparently my entire house. lmao.gif  Actually my entryway seems to be where everything is dropped and left to rot.  I am forever cleaning it up.  I have also learned that any flat surface in this house has a clutter magnet on it.  I am working on getting rid of things slowly but surely.  I have this fantasy that when I get rid of things the clutter will go away.  I am just going to ignore the part where most of the clutter are things my family members use and just leave laying.
