Nikki leaves in just over 36 hours. She informs me tonight that "I" need to wash clothes because some of the stuff she wants to bring is dirty. She has to pack tonight because tomorrow night they have to bring their suitcases to school to be checked and they have to leave them there.

This would be no big deal except my laundry room is coin operated and I lack quarters. So now I have to walk someplace and hope they will give me a few dollars in quarters. PITA

I found a new thrift store that I am super in love with.  It is a local health association, and they use the money they raise to bring kids and elderly to the doctors/dentist, etc and do educational programs.  Really good cause.

Best part is, to turn over their stuff super quickly, they sell it super cheaply.  I got 6 pairs of shorts, 2 pairs of jeans, a new polo, and a scooby-doo play shirt, a book, puzzle, and scene it Disney game for $4.75 total.  Love it.

I then scored 2 leapster games at another thrift store I don't love but was wasting time in until my pizza was done for 1.99 each.

Today is a good day.

Holy good deals batman!!!!!! Way to score!! :sonya

I'm pretty sure I could win the lottery and still find myself shopping at thrift stores.  Love love love them.  Especially when you find a really good one :)

Super Jealous! That is so cool! We don't have much like that. Goodwill is kind of costly now-a-days. Or I'm so friggn' broke and cheap, it just seems like it... LOL!!!

I agree on the goodwill.  I don't go to ours.
