We've been out of groceries for several days now, and I've been holding off going to the store because of an empty bank account.

This morning I was going to get BASIC necessities--bread, milk, hot dogs :D.

Then I remembered I hadn't deposited my paycheck from last week. Yay!!

It wasn't much (because of Spring Break) but it was plenty for groceries and some plants.

Just like Jennifer said, everything around here has a coat of yellow pollen on it.

I should take a picture.

My kids have been rubbing their eyes like mad because of their allergies.

 Hi!!!

I've been doing bookkeeping for a company for a few months. It's only part time but I just added Wednesdays (6 hour days) and it's super flexible with the kids school and vaca schedules.  It's a great company and I am really happy here :)

It is GORGEOUS here today. I was just out on my break on the phone with Joey and I so did NOT want to come back inside. 1 more hour and I'm out though. Maybe Lucas and I will go for a walk when he gets home.

We don't so much have the yellow coat yet but my allergies are off the hook.  Travis was complaining this morning when he got to my house before school and I told him if he wouldn't take anything then I didnt want to hear it. I think he wanted me to let him stay home. Um how about no LOL

Afternoon girlies :)

I have eaten my weight in Brach's Chicks and Rabbits. Terrible.

It is NOT gorgeous here. It's windy and cold! Ok not freezing but chilly i'm ready for t-shirt weather again.

We are down a dispatcher at work so i've been picking up extra hours. I work 10 hours tomorrow, which is normally a day off for me. Seemed like an ok idea at the time, but now I don't wanna. Oh well, money in the bank or in the pockets of those I pay bills to!

YUM!

i hope someone's around later.

i'm bored and need to clean the house and grade papers but i don't feel like doing either. blah.

Egg Salad is something I've never made, but I'm sure I'd love it..and seeing as how I've got all these fresh eggs from the in-law's chickens, I need to do something with them.    Do you have a good recipie?

I will say that I've learned how to make a pretty mean omelet though, lol

um, it's pretty complicated.

chop up eggs.  add s&p.  add mayo (or in your case miracle whip).  eat.

wow!  That's too hard for me

And I use mayo too, thank you very much ;)

In fact, when I make potato salad, I use miracle whip, a little mayo, plus a little sour cream

So good!

I looked online and found a ton of recipies, most of them pretty simple, some had crazy stuff in it.

I guess it's like anything else, you just put in what you like.  Have you tried a little mustard or sweet relish in yours?  I saw that in one of them

We went to my parents' house to play for a while.

Now we're back home.

Henry should be home in about 30 minutes.

He and his friends have been playing sprinkler trampoline every day for the past week or so.

Glen told them no more water-play for a while so that our grass can grow.

When I tell Henry he can't play in the water today, he's going to be all dramatic and tell me how his life is going to be terrible.

Just wait.

Hi!

I've been outside a good portion of the day.

I love warm, breezy springtime weather.
