sonya-- i can't imagine everything being closed. that would drive me batty. i got upset enough when one of my grocery stores started closing at midnight rather than staying open 24/7 as they had. i can't imagine an entire day with stores closed (especially right before Easter when people have a million errands to run!)
sara-- so happy to hear mikey is home! how nice to have everyone together for the holiday.
april-- that stinks about your spring break, but atleast you won't have to make up the snow days during the summer, right? plus, the weather was pretty crappy this week anyways, right?
i am sooo excited for sun finally! it is supposed to be almost 70 all weekend here. unfortunately i went on cleaning strike a couple days ago and i have a ton of stuff to catch up on. maybe i can boot the kids outside so i can get stuff done. (although after connor and the bean incident, i am not sure i trust them playing outside unsupervised...hmmmm)
We seriously need a remote for our living room. I am SOOOO tired of having four remotes to deal with-we have one in the basement, and I don't think they are that much money anymore. I should look into it-it is SUCH a pain with all of these remotes.
Corey-we are supposed to have awesome weather all weekend here too!!
I really need to do some cleaning too-and some laundry. I don't want to do the laundry though because it requires so much walking up and down the steps.
My muscles are so weak because of the steroids (it is such a weird side effect)-going up the steps a million times just doesn't work well! But still-I really need to do some.
It's only in the last few years that stores were allowed to open on Sunday so it isn't that strange to us. I found it bizarre in Boston that everything was open, lol.
I kind of like it. It takes away the pressure. They aren't open so there is nothing you can do so you can stay home and relax.
seriously, at what age does their "edit button" start taking effect?
last night connor got a glimpse of my belly and was like "aaagghh! mom cover that UP!" whilst blocking his eyes as if the very site of my giant stomach were going to blind him for life.

like a universal remote? they are super cheap. i would rather watch wow wow wubbzy on repeat all day long than shlep to the basement to get a remote to switch the channel.

Good point-and it would force Bill to be more prepared for home projects. I can't tell you how many times he ends up having to run out to the Home Depot in the middle of projects...

LMAO. That is so funny!!!!! Yeah-the edit button isn't on in this house either. (I'm sure your belly looks adorable, btw)
I keep waiting for Anna to tell me I look like I am growing a baby. She has been asking for a brother quite a bit, and I have gained 9 pounds on the pred so far (not bad, considering last time I gained 50!), and it is like ALL in my face, neck and belly. If I don't get off this stuff soon, Anna will start to think she is going to get that baby brother she is asking for, lmao.
our Easter plans include a whole lot of nothing, which i am very happy about.
tomorrow my nephews are coming over to decorate eggs, then saturday night my parents are having pizza and an egg hunt at their house.
on sunday i am planning on making a big breakfast and then we will just lounge around and enjoy the nice weather.
our family seems a bit miffed re. us not spending the day with them, but oh well...i can't bring myself to spend the day indoors. plus one of my sisters smokes and thinks nothing of lighting up in front of me (pregnant), my kids, and my mother (who is on oxygen) and i just don't think i can continue to keep my mouth shut any longer.

hmmm. i think if dave couldn't run out in the middle of the project, he would be more apt to say eff it and leave it unfinished for eternity than to actually plan ahead...

:lazy
Yes. Those programmable ones. I think the one we have for the basement would only be like $80-90 bucks now. Not bad, and definitely worth it. I hated dealing with the remotes down there and it is so nice not to have to anymore. But up here we have the TV remote, the DVD remote, the stereo remote and the cable box remote-too many.
My neighbors have a really fancy one that does the lights and all too, lmao, but we do NOT need that.
for those not on facebook, it is another boy. i am quite a bit down right now. i know i will get better, he is healthy which is what matters.
sending MAJOR hugs.
it's ok to be down. it really is. yes, he's healthy. yes, you do love him. none of that takes away the fact that you really wanted to have a girl. and that is 100% ok. it's ok to cry. it's ok to be sad. you're an amazing mommy to bryce, owen & keegan - just as you will be to this new baby boy. so for right now, just feel whatever you feel and don't beat yourself up about it.

(((((((HUGS)))))))))
You are entitled to feel down, Sara. I know he will be the perfect addition to your family, but I also know you need some time to grieve not having a girl.
But those were the cutest u/s pics-you do make gorgeous boys.
