Good morning!

What silly little regrets do you have in life (not the big ones like "I wish I married my high school sweetheart" but the little ones)?

I wish that:

1. we went to a Patriots game when we were living in Boston.
2. that we had gone to a Boston College football game
3. I took an extra day in DC on one of my millions of trips there and toured the sights.
4. we travelled to Europe before we had kids (or travelled more in Europe since we did do a bit).

I'll have to think about this question.

Good morning!

Most of my regrets are depressing like the family I let down by not showing up to babysit when I was suppose to a couple times in a row.

I also wish I would have developed a love for some sort of physical activity or sport that I could do as an adult.

Sonya, your regrets sound much more fun to remedy. smile

my parents took my 3 other kids overnight last night *for the first time ever* and i had friends over for book club. i had coffee in the silence this morning and have windows open and peace. the kids will be back in about 30 minutes.

mikey is ok. the sinus ct showed a big, obvious sinus infection. he is on the verge of neutropenic (loooow white cell count for those who don't speak sick) so they think he just is having trouble fighting it off. the oncologist said sinus infections like this are common for kids who have had radiation to the head because their sinuses don't drain normally.

they are going to give him some neupogen to help boost his white count and they switched the antibiotics since it didn't appear the other one was working as well as needed.

they are starting him on a nasal steroid and they are also calling in a respiratory team to check out his cough and see if a breathing treatment can help that.

the lungs are clear though so that is good news.

i'm glad his lungs are clear and hope they're able to get his white blood cell count up and knock this infection out quickly

i think of you both often and pray whenever i do

p.s. good for you on getting some alone time! i can't think of a person who deserves it more <3

little regrets...I wish I had:

- played tennis in high school.
- gone to the college I graduated from for the entire time , instead of just the last few years.
- stayed single in college and dated more.
- traveled more before kids.

Hi all!!

Sara, I am praying Mikey's sinus infection clears soon-I am glad his lungs are clear.

Allison-good to see you posting! I will have to go read the juicy details...

I wish:
-I had bought a different car other than my current VW (I will never buy from them again)
-learned how to manage money better when I was younger and had money to spare
-listened to my grandmother and gotten on those 5lbs before they turned into the gazillion I have to lose now!
-we had managed to get in a couple more vacas before the kids-we did quite a bit, but I wish we had gotten to Italy, England, Scotland, Ireland, and maybe a tropical resort.
-I had insisted we switched realtors when we were looking for this house-had we had someone better, we probably would have gotten this one house that would have been a much better fit for us but fell through the cracks because our realtor didn't know the story (it was a complicated sale) and he stunk. Bill picked him without consulting me because he was a family friend. I have always kicked myself about this one.
-like Libby, I wish I had developed a love for a sport or other physical activity I could do as an adult-that would help with these gazillion pounds!!

Wow-that is a lot. IHNI I had so many!
