If you could have a nanny, maid, or chef which would you pick.

I would go with the maid. I would be more inclined to learn how to cook if I knew the rest of the house was clean.

Today I have a lot to clean and luckily I feel motivated to do so. I may even take the kids grocery shopping by myself If I have the time, but we have therapy at 1 so its probably not likely.

Hi!

Maid hands down. I'm the worst at housekeeping. I do need to get this house in order this week though. It's BAD!

Hey you two!!

I am going to have to go with the maid option as well. I enjoy cooking, and I am lucky enough to have my mom and dad for babysitting. And I stink at keeping up with the cleaning.

Maid would be great-but I am too cheap for one!!

Tracy-good luck getting everything done today! It is nice when you have a day when you actually feel motivated. I have those once in a while, lol. Not too often though!!

Chef, definitely. I HATE cooking. Housecleaning is a picnic compared to cooking. Plus, I get a lot of satisfaction out of cleaning and organizing my house. Not so with cooking.

Dh and my other two children are coming back today. They wanted to be back by lunch time but blew out a tire and had to get it fixed which put them behind a couple of hours. At least I'll have dh here for some of the afternoon. And it's his turn this week to run kids around so I don't even have that to do. Unfortunately, having the other kids back means my light school days are over. Blech. Only 6 more weeks of school. Only 6 more weeks of school.....It's amazing how long 6 weeks can seem.

Totally going with the maid. I don't mind cooking and would mind even less if the kitchen was always cleaned by someone else. ;) I don't really need a nanny and cooking is pretty fun. So, yeah, maid. When is she coming???

Today is the first official day of spring break for me. Yay! So excited. The weather is supposed to be terrible all week but that's really okay because I need to do so much in the house.

So far I've cleaned out my closet. I put loads of stuff away (storage) and that made a big difference. I am now all over the place - laundry, my bedroom, living room, boys' bedroom. I need to just stick to one specific area but I get so scattered when I am organizing the house. Drives Doug crazy - can't say I blame him. But - the final product is always amazing so it kind of evens out. Better get back to it!

It is spring break for us too-which isn't that big of a deal I guess-just means the kids don't have preschool this week and no ballet tonight.

I am so glad though-I really enjoy having a week where we don't have to do anything or run off in the mornings!

Totally a chef! I like cooking but it's such a chore when working full time. The house can be messy but people still need to eat!

YOu know I dont even need someone to clean the whole house. If I could just have someone who would deal with the laundry things would be easy around here.

We have a lot on our schedule this week, actually, given that we have nothing we have to do.

Tomorrow my mom and dad were supposed to have the kids, but my dad has to work, so they asked if they could have them Wednesday instead so he could be there. So I think tomorrow, we will make candy easter eggs.

The reason for this is because my MIL, who makes a ton of them, didn't make peanut butter eggs. Now, she says she didn't think people liked the PB-but the truth is that SHE doesn't like them, lol. (she made coconut, banana, raspberry, orange, and coffee) When i told Bill the flavors she had made, he was upset she hadn't made PB-then his dad was too! Anyway, I said I would give it a whirl, even though I have never made them before. How hard could it be, right? Though the dipping in the chocolate might take some practice. We'll see how it all goes.

Then Wednesday, the kids will be with my mom and dad and I think I will made the potato casserole for Easter dinner-I can freeze it. I am just trying to figure out how much to make-it is very popular and will be the main side. And Bill's family can be real pigs. I also have to go to Labcorp that morning and do some bloodwork-I have to go early because I have to be fasting.

Thursday afternoon, we are going to Bill's cousin's house to make Easter sausage with his aunt and all of the cousins. She does it with them every year-last year Anna HATED the raw meat between her fingers-it was a RIOT.

Friday, I think we are going to go up to my BFF's house, if she is available. With the kids sick, we haven't gone up there, but I want to see the baby and we want to get the girls together to play-and her maternity leave is almost up!! So we need to get up there and have a playdate.

Busy week for us!

I did a half day at work today. I'm babysitting for my sister. She's at the specialist to see if they can have more kids after her ripped uterous incident. I took Jonah for a walk since he needed to nap and now we are sitting outside until he wakes up.

Oh my goodness!!  I didn't realize that had happened to your sister!  How can they tell?  Are they doing an u/s or something?  I hope they say she will be ok for more.
