A Thursday Try for Tini

I am in serious need of some discipline around here.  I keep finding excuses to not get my house back in order.  I have been blaming it on the warmer weather and nicer days, but today it's raining so my excuse is gone. giggle.gif

So my challenge today is simply for me to get back on the bandwagon of cleaning.  It doesn't matter if you are conducting this ride and never got off, like me, or somewhere in between.  All are encouraged to ride today.

So what's on your list?

At least one load of laundry
Clean off top of dresser in my room

There's lots more I can add, but at least now I have a start. lmao.gif

I cleaned really well over spring break so I don't really have much of that to do but I skipped paperwork things and I REALLY need to get that stuff done.

fill out survey
pay internet bill
balance checkbook
school with Brenna and Brittany (as a sidenote, 2 of my kids are GONE until Monday so my school load is really light)
grade papers
have Rebecca do chores
take Brittany to ballet
take Rebecca to and from ballet
send gift to sil
play with camera to figure out how to take good pictures (I tried, but I guess I need to do some research to figure it out better because I didn't make them much better than before)
call bowling alley
read through magazine
make calls (probably useless, but I need to try) I was right, it was useless, no one was home again
take shower

I haven't been making lists because I can't always be sure I will have the energy to do any of the things on them, but I already got some things done this morning, and I have a couple of other things I want to get accomplished today, so here is today's list for me: (I am resting now, lol-I have to take breaks throughout the day)

-dust main floor
-vacuum main floor
-clean kitchen floor
-straighten dining room

-finish folding laundry
-call elementary school about K registration
-make egg salad for lunch tomorrow

I don't think the folding will get done until tonight, but that is ok.

Tracy, I am sorry you are having some rough days-is it the kids?  Or are you not feeling well?

Ok, I called the elementary school.  This is quite a process!!  I am going to have to go over there, pick up some form from them that I have to take to the pedi, then they have to fill it out with everything else that is required, get them back to me, which costs $6 unless you need them right away and then it is $20-and seeing as it takes 10-14 days, I am not sure which will apply to us, then we have to take that back with a bunch of other things during registration week, which is the week after Easter.

I am exhausted already!  Thank goodness I called today...at least I can get the ball rolling with this tomorrow!

Well, the cat boxes are done.  I did go and take E to OT and go to the meat store, which is also where I get my eggs.  I am stocking up for egg dying.

Nicole, thank you.  I played around on photobucket to do my siggy.  Of course that is more important than my list. rofl.gif

Supa, you might want to give your ped's office a call before you make a trip to the school.  Ours keeps the forms in the office, which would save you a trip and time.

No such luck-I called the pedi's office and they said I have to go to the school to get the forms, drop them off, then when they are ready, I have to pick them back up!!

Man, they don't want to make this process easy, do they???  At least I know and we can go ahead and do it tomorrow.

Ok-everything is done but the laundry folding, which I am going to do whilst I watch grey's tonight.

Yay!  i did very well today!!! And I feel better now because the house looks decent.  Not where I want it to be, but decent.

I'm tired though, lol. But this was good for me today!!!
