*if* this bump is a boy, and I say if because I have so many tales recently of the sex being wrong from the scan, I think I like the name Ollie.

In fact we have been calling him Ollie for a few weeks now and it has stuck.

Do you think Ollie is a nice name? I like Oliver but since Charlie is and never was Charles I thought we should shorten to Ollie straight away.

Ollie John Dickson/Oliver Jack Dickson

(john/jack after both our (and both of mine) grandfathers as fathers were covered by Charlie mn's)

What do you think?

9 weeks to go!

I like Oliver and I like Ollie but I'd go with Oliver so he has a "grown up" name to go to someday if he wanted it.

I can't believe you only have 9 more weeks!

 Ditto

I think Ollie sounds fine for a little boy..For a 40 year old man, not so much, lol

I would also go with Oliver (which I love!!!) so he has a few options when he's older.

Only 9 more weeks?!?!!!?? How is that even possible!?

How are you feeling these days?

I agree with everyone else.  I also think it fits well with Charlie's name.  You must be pretty excited and ready to have him here by now.  Are you ready?

On the birth certificate, I'd go with Oliver, but think Ollie is cute to call him. I can't imagine being that close to being done... (9 weeks to go)

Oh ladies! You have caused some controversy in this house! I think this will require some more discussion!

I am so excited to only have just over 8 weeks to go. 19 more working days before my Maternity Leave starts on 30th April until Jan 2011!

I'm ready in so much as I am ready to be done being pregnant. It hasn't been nearly as much fun 2nd time round. I'm sore (FB friends will have seen me bitch on a regular basis about my back) and tired allllll the time.

I was warned being 5 yrs older, and having an almost 5 year old to look after would mean 2nd time would be more difficult but I didn't realise how much so!!

We have pretty much everything we need except for the pram/travel system which is ordered and just has to paid off. It's getting delivered at the beginning of May. I have a stockpile of dipes/wipes, a new sterilser, some bottles JIC BF doesn't work out again, a few wee bits of clothes and onesies etc. Pretty much everything we'll need for at least the first few weeks.

Just need to get the "spare" room sorted out. It's currently painted HOT pink, as it was my office, but sadly my office is now the laptop in the dining room! Just need to redecorate the room, pull the cot out of the attic and get it all set up and we're good to go I think...

Phew... that wound up a long post!
