It is Owen's 1/2 birthday and leader day at school so he was quite excited about that. Yes, I know his 1/2 birthday was really January but they have a lot of bdays to get through..lol.
I have to take Bryce to the doctor at 1:30. He has that darn fluid in that right ear. I actually had the school nurse check on Friday so if it was bad I could schedule him something over spring break next week. She said the fluid was almost completely gone and he had not complained. Fastforward to last night before bed he told John he could not hear out of his right ear, same thing to me this morning. Called in had the nurse check and she said lots of fluid back in the ear. :ahh So called his peditrician, I am sure we will be going to an ENT here soon. One flipping ear infection, why would it not go away...ack!
Luckily, my grandma is going to come sit here at the house while Keegan naps. And my friend always gets O on Tuesdays so we are good there.
We have no plans for St. Patty's day. I am afraid to drink nowadays because my UC, while better, is not under control and I just don't want to risk anything causing problems. So no green beer for me. And I don't like corned beef-blech.
Today, my mom has the girls and it is turning into a gorgeous day here! They will love it-I am sure she and my dad will get them outside.
As for me, I have been taking it easy this morning. I took a long shower and shaved my legs, and getting ingredients ready for the deep dish pizza we are having for dinner tonight, and watched 20/20 from last night-all about the Bachelor and such. It was entertaining.
I have to go to get blood drawn for my food allergy testing at 1:30, then I have acupuncture at 2:30. I am sooooo looking forward to that. I have been battling this nasty cold and she wants to see if she can help knock it out. I am hoping for some relief.
Then I will come home and get the pizza prepped and get the kids from my mom's.
I was going to go to Target today, but I didn't feel like it. I think I will go tomorrow while the girls are at school. I can't handle too many errands in one day, lol.
I am happy with my last few bowel movements!! I am seeing a LOT less blood. Previously, I would have the movement, but also just a lot of blood with it-like it turns the water red. This cold has not helped (sickness almost always caused me problems). But the last few times I have gone, I know there is still blood in the movement itself, but there hasn't been any additional blood loss-which is a big improvement!!!!
I still have a ways to go, but this is very encouraging. Hopefully this trend continues and I can start tapering off of the steroids without any trouble!!!
Fingers crossed!!! And if the acupuncture can help with the cold, i think that will help me in the bathroom as well.
While moving the horses accross the street to eat the neighbors grass this morning, they bumped heads, got startled, and the dog freaked on them. So they took off, I have rope burns on my hands, the dog got run over, I had to chase them, catch them, and walk them back. The dog can't put weight on his leg, my right hand is useless.
The fun never stops.
Tomorrow I work at Andrew's PS, so I am bringing green kiwi for snack. And cookies and cheese. Wonder what the kids will eat??? LOL!
