Supa, not sure if they are there, but I was just in Burlington Coat Factory the other day and they had some super adorable easter dresses right when you walked in.  It made my ovaries hurt for a girl ;)

LOL.  Well, maybe there will be a girl in your future!!!

We do have Burlington, and I was thinking maybe I should check there.  I think the girls would actually like to go as well-they are getting more opinionated about these things nowadays.

But then I might regret taking them...hmmm.  I'll have to think about whether or not to take them.

Don't know if there is a K-Mart near by you, but they always have the cutest dresses...

We went to Lowes yesterday. Andrew made a table top basketball hoop at the kids clinic and then we bought 3 trees. A Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, and a 3 in one pear tree. They were $7.50 each! We got 6 blueberry plants and 2 raspberry plants that were $.88 each! I don't know how to grow the berries, but got 2 of each kind and figured we'd see what happens. For that price, they were worth experimenting with.

We then met Steve for lunch at IHOP and went to the library on the way home. It was so windy in town, Andrew wanted to fly kites when we got home. Of course, not a breeze here. IDK if our little valley in the hills was protected from the wind or what. It was dark here, all the clouds stacked up against the hills and mountians.
Town was bright and sunny, so we ended up driving all the way back in and Steve met us at a park after work. We flew kites, walked, Andrew practiced on his skateboard for the first time. He had a blast. Then we feed the ducks and geese. I got bit a couple of times (of course) and it drew blood. So, now Steve thinks I'm going to catch some Avian flu strain and pass it to the baby. LOL!

Andrew feel asleep in the car on the way home, woke up when we tried to get him to bed, and with the short nap, ended up staying up until after 10:00pm.

He was then up at 7:16 am today. I slept on the couch while he watched cartoons. I'm going outside later to try and dig holes. At least figure out where to but the trees/plants. It's sunny here today, but chilly. Supposed to be 72 by Wed. Can't wait.

Will go to bed early tonight for an early morning tomorrow. Having a big U/S tomorrow morning. Hopefully baby will cooporate and we will find out what it is.

That sounds like a great day, Victoria! (aside from getting bitten by the birds) I am jealous of the trees and such-I hope one day we will have enough space to have a couple of fruit trees, even though Bill's dad always talks about how much work they are.

They have a ton of raspberries and blueberries at the farm too and they don't seem to require much. We transplanted some raspberries from there to our house and they have always done well here-we didn't get much from them the first year though. Blueberries we never try because the birds get to them so much. But I bet they will be pretty low maintenance, and that is a great price!!

I hope that baby cooperates-I am anxious to hear what you are having!!

I don't do much work with our trees. It's kind of a love/hate relationship. The deer seen to know when the apples will be picked, and show up a night or two before. furious Then the birds with the peaches.... We now have 3 apricot trees, so hopefully we'll get some for us this year. Living in the country is great, but the animals think we grow for them... I love seeing the birds, we have...IDK... groups, of quail that are so cool to watch. We took down the cherry tree. It was half dead when we bought the place and never got one cherry. Same with a plum tree. It was half green and half dead. It just got worse and we didn't get one plum last year. The birds got a few. So, we just took that down this winter.  I got a weeping plum to replace it. I have never heard of them, so we'll see how it does.

The plants we got are bareroot. Just a stick sticking up. Is that what you had? I was going to plant them next to a fence and see what happens...Wondering if I should get more... I'll have to look up how fast they grow...
