Well my vacation is over. I have to travel on Monday to meet my new team.
Cheri is visiting this weekend. She has a Mary Kay conference so stayed last night. Her family will be here for supper tonight. It's been fun to see her again.
i chaperoned a dance last night. dis.gus.ting. please don't let my kids ever be 14 or 15, k? thanks. (it was a frosh-soph dance.)
we went to get a beer when it was over (me and the other chaperones, not me and the kids which may have been how it sounded, lmao), so i didn't get home until 1:30. kids were up at 6:45am.
today we're going to take them to the aquarium. sonya, it is POURING here and will be for 3 more days, so i'm super jealous of your awesome weather.
tomorrow, matt is going to help his friend work on his boat so i'll fly solo all day. i want to look up movie times and see if there's anything playing that i can take them to.
right now they asked to watch cars so they're entertained for the moment.
Today- more like in the next three hours I need to finish up laundry, get the kids dressed, me dressed (maybe even a shower, lol) and the apartment picked up.
My sister in law will be here at 11:30 to watch the kids for the day :) :)
She drives over 2 hours each way once a month to give Travis and I a day off.
She and I went through a really rough patch way back in the day and I couldn't stand her. Love love love her now.
Henry's friend John-David came over after school yesterday and stayed until I took him home at 9. [I just love John-David; he has EXCELLENT manners.]
Of course, Mark pitched a GINORMOUS fit when he had to go to bed while John-David was still here.
This morning, I'm going to the Little Clinic in Kroger for a probably sinus infection; my throat has been hurting for DAYS. And now my head is completely stopped up.
This afternoon, I'm taking Mark to a birthday party at an indoor gym place.
While I'm gone, some painters are coming to give us an estimate on painting the living room, kitchen, and Mark's bedroom.
I've explained to Glen and my dad (who's bringing the painters) how I want it painted.
Tomorrow we have church in the morning, then Henry is going to Chad's birthday party in the evening.
Right now I'm putting finishing touches on my nieces bridal shower invitations, and looking up games to play.
We have a big family dinner at my sister's tonight, then Hannah is spending the night with Joe's dad and stepmom. We usually stay all night at my sister's, but now that she has a rowdy dog, we can't take Remy anymore, so we'll probably come home late and watch movies.
Tomorrow I'm going to have to clean the house. I've been gone so much this week that things have really fallen apart (although I don't know why since it's just Joe here when I'm gone, and Hannahs with me, but whatever, lol.)
Sonya, I'm sorry your week off went by so quickly (for me it did, anyways, so I assume it did for you, lol). April, Ita with what you said about not wanting teens. I get heart palpitations just thinking about it.
I was hoping to get tons done before my family comes in, but I need dh for most of it.
He got called into work at 730 and he didnt get home till 130 last night.
My sister sent pictures of the first home my parents ever bought. I always wanted it as my first house, but man its smaller than I remember. She also sent pics of where I went to kindergarten -3rd grade. Thats bigger than I remember.
and since I had my credit card out anyhow, I pre-ordered the easy reader books from preschool prep. I'm so excited they are being released! Tristen knows all the sight words from the three videos now, so I am hoping this will be his leap into reading. Tristen is so far ahead of Koda reading wise, and I totally credit the preschool prep series. end infomercial, lol.

I'm super slow to get up and going - as our the kids. It will take a bit to get used to it being an hour later than our internal clocks think.
The students come back from Spring Break today- super big booooo to that. However, they being back means 8 weeks until graduation and they leave for almost 3 whole months- woot!
I made bacon and eggs for breakfast. We never ever have bacon, but we had some in the fridge because Travis needed some for the baked beans he is cooking up. So good, already regretting it. Blah.
Travis asked me over breakfast my plans for the day (he is doing research all day). I may have glared at him and announced I got the boys ready, and breakfast on the table- I hadn't had a chance to itemize our itinerary for the day. Need more coffee, lol :)
I was like the energizer bunny this morning. Well, not really, but for me currently I was. I woke up early (it was like 7:15, but that is early considering the time change). I had to pee because the prednisone is messing with my glucose levels, so I am downing water like it is going out of style and having to pee all the time. Anyway, once I was up to pee, I had to have a BM anyway, so I was up by then. Plus the prednisone makes me hard to sleep (I usually take benedryl or something at night otherwise I would never sleep!), so I figured I would just stay up.
Sometimes going back to get upsets my bowels for some reason anyway.
So no one else was up-so I decided to clean my bathroom. It was nasty in there because Bill won't do it and I have been sick for a while.
Bill was sort of awake after that, then Kate started to wake up, but I was already dressed and all, so I decided to make breakfast. Bill thought it was too early, but I get shaky if I don't eat (again, I think it is the pred messing with my glucose-I hope I don't end up being diabetic because of this), so I went downstairs.
I made such a fatty breakfast-we had sausage gravy and biscuits. The kids were disgusted by the gravy, so they just have biscuits with honey and some strawberries. My dad got us these strawberries from Sam's club-they are HUGE!!!! And SOOOOOO yummy.
We didn't go to church today. We actually didn't go last week either. We should really make it a point to go next week.
Last week we didn't go because I was still feeling pretty crummy. I am a bit more predictable now though, so I think we could go without me having to worry about running to the bathroom.
Technically, we could still go today, but I know we won't.
We had a birthday party last night for Bill's youngest brother and his aunt. We are getting into birthday season now-this coming weekend will be the only free one we have until May.
Anyway, half the family hadn't even known I was in the hospital! Everyone was all like, "I can't believe I didn't know! Why didn't you call us, Bill?"
Um...these people are friends with my on FB-if they ever checked there, they would have known!
Anyway, I don't really care-I wasn't really all that anxious to have people come visit me while I was there anyway.
The party worked out in our favor-the kids got to bed super late last night and ended up sleeping in some this morning for the time change. Cha-ching!!!
Supa, not sure if they are there, but I was just in Burlington Coat Factory the other day and they had some super adorable easter dresses right when you walked in. It made my ovaries hurt for a girl ;)

LOL. Well, maybe there will be a girl in your future!!!
We do have Burlington, and I was thinking maybe I should check there. I think the girls would actually like to go as well-they are getting more opinionated about these things nowadays.
But then I might regret taking them...hmmm. I'll have to think about whether or not to take them.
