If you can stomach the dried edamame, seriously, it's your new best friend. It's all fiber & protein.
I get a ton of fiber each day, not including the psyllium husk that I take, too. (Probably too much, although my system is totally used to it now.) My food diary on MFP is open to friends if you want to check it out.
A few things...what the hell is edamame? I've seen it several times on the MB on MFP but was ??? Also - is psyllium husk different from psyllium fiber? That is the supplement I am taking. ITA that my system is now used to the heavy dose of fiber.
Apies - some days I get tons of fiber naturally. Those are typically the days I do a lot of working out because it bumps up my calores, fat, protein and carbs to allow more foods, thus more fiber. On days (like today) where I am resting from exercise I just can't fit in fiber naturally. Well, I'm sure I *could* but thus far have not. So, I suck down the fiber powder with tons of water. It has a double benefit for me - the fiber and the massive amount of water.
One thing I did switch out is my cereal in the morning to high fiber oatmeal - that has 10 grams of fiber alone. I do a lot of apples (not in a day but in general), bananas, oranges, avocados and those help with the fiber - but again they have more calories, carbs, etc. than the supplement so some days I am more limited than other.
