Hannah and I crashed on the couch, so my back is killing me this morning. I'm too old. Joe's traveling today, so I think we're going to a playdate.
Hannah got engaged yesterday at school. A little girl named Lauren and Boo both like my friend's son Noah. She came in from school and said, "Lauren said she's going to marry Noah. But Noah said, 'NO. I'm not. I'm going to marry Hannah. Right?' and I was all like, 'Duh, of course.' And then Eva and Tyler broke up, so me and Noah are the only serious couple in my class." I'm in for a world of trouble, I think.
As for the QotD, I'm dying to do Disney. Absolutely dying. It was supposed to be our vacation this year, but our refund is going to be crap, and with Joe's hours getting cut again, there's NO chance of that happening. And, I really want to do Phoenix again (but with Joe, too), and Gatlinburg to take a family vacation to where Joe and I got married. We'll be lucky to get a chance to go to Joe's grandparents summer home in Kentucky.
Joe had a phone interview yesterday. Please put some positive thoughts out there that he'll get an offer - and that they'll make him a good offer, and he'll be happier there. We are absolutely drowning lately.
I would love to take both girls to Disney World. We were hoping to make it this year, but with everything that has happened, we decided to hold onto our savings a little tighter, just in case.
I think this is how hoarders start; keeping everything "just in case."
This summer we are going to a cabin/lake a few hours away as a family. My sisters and their families are coming as well as my parents. We've been before two years ago. I'm so excited. It's beautiful, the cabin is amazing and everybody loves it there.
I also loved our family trip to Disneyland. Hoping to do that again next summer!
I have lots of answers to the question. I would love to go to so many places in the U.S.; San Antonio, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Atlanta, Alaska, Portland, and lots of other places. I would also like to go to Italy, France, Ireland, England, and other countries.
Now in reality, we just went to Disney so we had our family vacation for this year. I am still hoping to do a Chicago trip this year and take another crack at camping (but maybe in a cabin this time).

Do you guys do "real" camping (not on a campsite, etc), or are you interested in a more comfy experience?
With the kids, we have gone to a couple of places, but our favorite by far is Jellystone (it's Yogi Bear themed). It was super fun. We stayed in tents, but they had cabins for rent. They had a pool, and a club house that did arts and crafts each day. They also did hay rides around the camp ground, which included sing a longs. And they had night movies they showed on a big screen, along with bonfires.
Lots of kids, and our two had a blast. It was really clean, and super family friendly (we even brought our dog). However, it wasn't "real" camping; we had electric and running water, but it was great all the same. I know there are tons of them around the midwest, and we are going to a Wisc one this summer.
I want to do Disney when the kids are a bit older (or if the house sells, maybe next year as the school March Break will be 2 weeks long and moved to February so it matches up with Mike's Spring Break - Canada Winter games will be in Halifax so everything got moved around).
I want to do a trip across Canada and the USA - a big summer trip where we drive everywhere. This will obviously have to wait until they are old enough to enjoy it but not old enough to hate spending time with us yet.
I want to do a Europe trip - I'm kind of hoping Mike can do a sabatical somehwere in Europe for a term or something so we can live there as a family. That sounds so fun to me.
My big plan right now is to have the family meet me in a town 3 hours from here on Friday night and we'll do an indoor amusement park on Saturday morning. I'm still working on convincing Mike of that one.
maybe somewhere quick and close once bryce is out of school before to close to me delivering.
we have talked, st. louis or cincinnati.
How far are you from King's Island? I've heard that's a fun trip, but I wonder how much they have for little ones.
Love King's Island and plenty of rides for little ones. Also love Six Flags in Louisville(I think Sara is close to that). We will probably do a long weekend this summer to Louisville, Cincinnati or Pigeon Forge. Ray doesn't have any more vaction time until September.

They are closing Six Flags/Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville that made the news a few weeks ago here.
my husband has a phone interview for the job in ohio that i don't want him to take.
how's that for entertaining?
ftr - it's northern ohio, sandusky county.
Boo. I hope it works out however you want it to. Although, I would love to have you in state.
And I saw talk of King's Island - yep, it's just north of Cincy. I love Cincinnati (uhm, to visit for a short amount of time, lol.) There's so much to do.
