Good morning!

If you could compete in any Olympic sport, what would you do?

I had a GREAT time on my trip!!  It was so good to see her, but I was ready to come home Sunday.

I just would NEVER want to be in the single/dating scene again!!  YUCK!!

I had my first ever martini, it was a blackberry one, and it was delish!

Good Morning!

Jen, glad you had a good time!

An Olympic sport? Ice dancing has be intrigued right now.

Yesterday Braydon's hockey association had Skate the Lake. They make 7 rinks one the lake, complete with a Zamboni. After Braydon's game Kaylin got to skate too. Then my Mom and Dad took all the kids with them for a couple of hours. Mark and I went snowmobiling. I hadn't done that since I was very little. Lots of fun!!

Good morning!

I think I'd like to be an olympic gymnast.

But without the gymnast legs.

For winter, cross country skiing/hit the target with your gun sport.

Umm, just kidding, what the heck is up with that competition?

Jaunita I'm glad you had a good time and that you were revived and excited to come home on Sunday.

That's the way it should be.

GM!

Hmmm. I don't know which sport I'd like to do. I always wanted to be a figure skater or a ski racer.

I think it would be really fun to do the flying through the air ski jumping.

Or luge or bobsled - whack-a-dooos. But it looks fun.

Speed skating would be fun if you didnt' need the giant legs (blech).

I would pick gymnastics because I did that for 9+ years and it was so enjoyable.

Long day today. Early(ish) meeting at work and then an enrollment late(r) tonight. Boo. But I'll get to leave a bit early Friday so that makes me happy!

Good morning!

I would be a figure skater, mostly because it looks so fun. But I probably hate the perpetually brusied behind that came with it.

Danielle is sick today; she woke up and said her head hurt and throat her, and I called B.S. Then I took her temp, which was 101.6, and sent her back to bed.

Her teacher conference is Thurs night, and I'm super nervous. I feel like we are judged as parents when she slacks off.

I wish they could see a glimmer into our home, and know that we are trying with her. Blah.

Glad you had a good time! It's nice (and necessary) to get away every once in awhile.

And that martini sounds yummy!

gm all

i'm already out of patience and it's 8:45 am. NOT a good sign.

mostly i think it's just stress/anxiety because we have to go in for a whole day of chemo today.

it's just not fun. i'm tired of it.

and yesterday i met a woman who lost her little boy (around mikey's age) to blood cancer.

i'm a bit....raw ....today.

I'm sorry you are nervous about that. It just seems so wrong that you would have to feel that way. I don't know what the answer is but would the teachers prefer that you do her homework for her and turn it in or what? I sort of feel like they are missing the most important part of the equation - Danielle.  I don't know though.

we got snow but nothing unusual - looks like about 6 inches.

jake assumed he would have a snow day and didn't set his clock for school. just like last time he thought he would have a snow day. then he was pissed at me because i wouldn't call in and excuse him from being late. :eyeroll:

I'm thinking about volunteering for the Brier - the Canadian Mens curling championships - the week in between my two jobs.

Mike thinks I'm crazy but I think it will be fun. One of my co-workers is organizing volunteers. I love stuff like that.

Speaking of ice skating, have y'all noticed how many people have fallen during these games??  It's like every night, at least 2 or 3 people fall!

What's up with that?
