An Olympic sport? Ice dancing has be intrigued right now.
Yesterday Braydon's hockey association had Skate the Lake. They make 7 rinks one the lake, complete with a Zamboni. After Braydon's game Kaylin got to skate too. Then my Mom and Dad took all the kids with them for a couple of hours. Mark and I went snowmobiling. I hadn't done that since I was very little. Lots of fun!!
I would pick gymnastics because I did that for 9+ years and it was so enjoyable.
Long day today. Early(ish) meeting at work and then an enrollment late(r) tonight. Boo. But I'll get to leave a bit early Friday so that makes me happy!
Danielle is sick today; she woke up and said her head hurt and throat her, and I called B.S. Then I took her temp, which was 101.6, and sent her back to bed.
Her teacher conference is Thurs night, and I'm super nervous. I feel like we are judged as parents when she slacks off.
I wish they could see a glimmer into our home, and know that we are trying with her. Blah.

I'm sorry you are nervous about that. It just seems so wrong that you would have to feel that way. I don't know what the answer is but would the teachers prefer that you do her homework for her and turn it in or what? I sort of feel like they are missing the most important part of the equation - Danielle. I don't know though.
we got snow but nothing unusual - looks like about 6 inches.
jake assumed he would have a snow day and didn't set his clock for school. just like last time he thought he would have a snow day. then he was pissed at me because i wouldn't call in and excuse him from being late. :eyeroll:
