So what has your child done or said to amuse you lately?

Here the dog has been involved.

Elizabeth ate a grapefruit.  After she was done, I told her we should wash her hands.  She told me, "I don't need to.  The dog washed them for me and my mouth too!"

She also found some chocolate hiding somewhere.  As she was eating she came to me and told me the dog told her she could have the chocolate.  I asked her where she got the chocolate.  She told me, "The dog reached in and got it out with his paws and handed it to me."

I found it pretty amusing. lmao.gif

So what cute, funny or sweet things are happening at your house?

Oh my goodness - my children make me laugh all the time! They asked me to read them a book the other night and I told them no and that tonight we were going to make up our own stories. Gavin went first. I told Owen it was his turn. He went to get a book. I told him to make up a story off the top of his head. He said "the top of my head?" I said, yep, "once upon a time..." (to help get him going.) He said, "once upon the top of my head was FREEZING!" (It was funnier in person.) Later that night Gavin told the story of me being pregnant with him (he is obsessed with it for some reason - I told him all about it one night because he asked.) So then he says, "and then a yittle baby was born named Gavin Douglas Lastname" and motions to "down there." I asked him where he came out of and he looked at me a little perplexed and said "YOUR BALLS!" I was dying. Even Owen was laughing and said "girls don't have balls, they have vaginas!"

If I'm talking to Sarah and she wants to talk, she says, "calm down mommy, let me talk."

No matter if I'm upset with her or not.

It cracks us up.

I often say "you silly boy" to Christopher when he's being silly so lately he's been calling me a "silly woman" when I'm being silly.  It's funny at home but he did say it when we were out for a few times and I saw some raised eyebrows lol
