AAAHHH!! It's craziness out there. I'd say we have about 9-10" but I don't know how much more we're still supposed to get.
I'm so thankful, though, that we didn't end up getting hit last weekend as well. I have no idea how Supa and April have dealt with being inside so much. I have cabin fever and it's only been 24 hours! Having Meghan home all day is tough right now since I can't really do very much right now. Luckily Mike is home today b/c I've put myself on bedrest in hopes of keeping this baby comfy and in utero. LOL
I'm hoping this stops before midnight so the roads can get cleared just in case my parents need to rush out here.
Laura and April- around how much, total, do you guys have now? I have a co-worker in Virginia and he said he got 32" this weekend and then 10" in this last storm. Craziness!

Yeah-I have thought about how awful it would be to be almost ready to have a baby and be stuck in this weather. I would be terrified of going into labor!!! STAY IN, BABY!!!!!
We had 27" over the weekend, and the total as of the 5:30 news for this one was 16.9" at the airport-it is still snowing and has been, but it has let up a lot. With the drifts, it is hard to tell this time what the actual totals are-definitely over 17". I know there are parts of PA being hit harder than we are, and from the radar this time, it looks like this round is heavier on April than us, but yeah. It is ridiculous. We set a new record-like by a long shot.
But honestly, the kids are used to it now. They didn't have school last week, aside from Anna going Friday, because of other snows, and then no school at all this week either. They haven't even been outside in like 2 days, and tbh, they don't really want to. We are all sick of it. But they are having fun, playing with their barbie princesses, having pretend sleepovers with each other, watching more movies than they ever allowed to. I hate being so sick, but in some ways it is nice because it would be hard for me to leave the house much anyway, so being stuck indoors isn't driving me as crazy as it normally would. Right now, I am just anxious because IDK if I will be able to get to my GI appt on Friday morning, but I have to prep for the sigmoidoscopy starting tomorrow night-I don't want to do that if I can't get to their office!
Spring can't come fast enough though-we are over it!
we had around 24" last weekend and it's hard to tell from the past 24 hours. my guess would be 12" or so? but seriously, there is so much drifting, that it's hard to get a good idea.
all i can say is that for an area that usually just gets a few inches per season, this is completely debilitating. and aggravating.
Oh my word no more! We just got dug out from the 15" inches from 2 weeks ago. I know that doesn't seem like a lot to some people but for an area that rarely sees that much snow in an entire winter season- that's a lot for one sitting!
We were in a winter storm warning, then it changed over to a blizzard warning, now its just high winds. We're 16-28mph with gusts to 50mph but its saying on the warning that we're looking at sustained 20-30mph winds. We already lost power once today. Its snowing again and its going to do it tonight and into tomorrow, clear up for the weekend, and start again on Sunday! No more, no more.
ETA- its the ice that cripples here. Especially when you live in the mountains and up on a hill. So not fun to get down.

It is still crazy out there right now. And we just got the call that school is cancelled again tomorrow. Too bad I still have to work - not quite sure how that is going to go.
i will take a few pictures with my real camera in a few minutes. it is INSANE here. seriously. the only time i've seen more snow at one time was when we lived in denver in 2003 and we got over 3 feet and were trapped in our apartment for 5 days.
no school again today and tomorrow will just depend on how quickly they can get it all cleaned up.
Official numbers are in here. We got 19" in this latest storm, we had had 27" from the previous. Our record snowfall (for the season) had been 62.5", set in '95-'96, our numbers for this season? 79.9".
Seriously, we generally get 18" TOTAL for the season. We have now had 3 blizzards this winter, which is absolutely unheard of.
