Sarah's rockstar stage

Soooo, I went to home depot and bought an unpainted, unfinished tabletop, cut it into a baseball diamond shape.

Found a step stool at Joann's fabric and screwed it into the bottom of the table top.

The boys painted it white, Sarah sprinkled glitter into the wet paint and I spray painted silver stars on it with stencils.

 LOL, that totally sums up Sarah, pearls and dirty knees.

Re: shutters, are you talking about for sleeping?

For sleeping I have a black out roller shade behind it in Sarah's room.

Just within the last 6 months I started leaving the shade up full time because she can sleep fine with some light coming in, in the morning.

For non sleeping, the blinds are good for keeping the sun/heat out.

Adorable! I havent seen a pic of little Sarah in ages.....she is too cute! She looks just like her mama! So glad she loves her new stage!

She's my kind of girl!  Yes, I meant for those bright summer mornings.  I want wooden blinds or shutters for the look, but didn't know if they'd keep the rooms dark enough.  Thanks!

Love it!  I still have yet to make one here but I am totally digging the glitter and stars.  You did a great job!
