what kind of cabinet pulls would you use for a kitchen with cherry cabinets?  also, what kind of pendant lighting?

i really like these pulls, but wonder if it is too dark?  also, I like these pendant lights but again, is it the bronze too dark?  I also like this one (I saw a knock off version at Lowes)  The light would hang over our eat-in counter area (we currently have a ceiling fan there)

I don't really think brushed nickel would go...but :dunno

Here is a pic of our current kitchen.  I am replacing the flooring and just going to try and touch up the cabinets (not painting or anything) I am also painting...thinking of something like this color.

i think cherry is a really hard look to get right. we were considering doing our cabinets cherry, and i was at a total loss.
i do think you could pull off a brushed nickel just fine, especially if you tied it together with a brushed nickel pendant light...i agree with you though that an antique bronze might be too dark (unfortunately, bc i love that look).

we have brushed nickel pulls that are brand new - let me know if you want me to mail them to you. mike lost the receipts and they've been sitting in the garage for a year - we're not using them.
i can take a pic as soon as i get a chance later. they are sort of like what you have, but plainer and a bit bigger.

wow!!  love this pic, Kelly!  Thank you so much for finding it....it is so hard to find cherry cabinet pics.

i am stuck with them for now...we can't afford new cabinets and don doesn't want to paint.  but i found this post about touching them up and I thought i could do something like that.  these cabinets are almost exactly the same as mine.

Thank you, Kelly!!  I guess, I would use pulls for the drawers, right? and knobs for the cabinets?

I am still trying to find a pendant light I like....I am scared to ge too much of an industrial looking light b/c of the cherry cabinets. and then the smalller ones look so cheap(esp when you see them in the store)

i am so happy to actually  have a plan for this kitchen...well almost ;)  but, we did decide on a floor, a backsplash, and paint.  we are also going to do this.  we saw it at lowes.  we should be able to do it all for under a thousand.
