for the next 2 1/2 weeks the ages of my kids are 7,8,9,10.

cuh-razy!

That is nuts! My sister's kids are 5, 4, 2, and her next one is due in two months.

I'm lucky I get to babysit all of them often, lol!

i love your stories, Jenn!

Last one of the morning, then I need to go clean.

"Jenn, what do you think this is, a bug bite?" - holding an arm inches from my face.
"You mean the spreading rash that is creeping up your entire arm?  1.  No I don't think it is a bug bite.  2. you need to get out of my office and go to the health center."
"But we have a meeting scheduled"
"yeah.  I think the red splotches now spreading outweigh our meeting.  If we meet, you might contaminate my office.  Go."

-one of my staff members.  Who, had shingles- not a bug bite.

Since that appears to be the unofficial question of the day, I am happy to report that I have not had a vist from AF for over 3 years.

I do love my Mirena heart.gif

shut up, for real? Is that healthy? wow, jealous.

Ya, apparently the presence of the unit inhibits the buildup of the uterine lining, so there isn't really anything to shed. It's like the repro system is getting mied signals; it detects something is there, and can't be quite sure if it's a pregnancy or not.

It weirds my DH out, that's for sure. He doesn't really get the build-up thing, and I've never felt compelled to sit down and whip out a textbook with him, lol.

There is one type that lasts 10 years (this one is only 5 years, but has been great).

AF comes Wed for me. We're all totally in sync.

On my new other board, they call AF TOM.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why.

 time of month

 Ahhhhhhhhhhh! TY!

 omg, lmao! that is crazy!

That's what I told her and she said this.

What was crazy was when I had a 2 year old, 1 year old, 5 month old and was pregnant.

dan never heard back about the job in ohio.

but his dad called and told him about a job in north carolina - and dan seemed interested in it. i'd be willing to bet he has his resume there within 2 days.

af, or henry as i call it, is leaving here too, lol!

Good morning!

I'm so ready for everyone to be back to normal around here.  Things are better, but still not "well" yet.

ParaGard.
Copper.
Does not stop periods.
Eye-wateringly more expensive.

AF is late as usual. Will either be today, tomorrow, or next week. Typical. bleh

I swear it keeps getting better.

While running conduct checks to be sure none of my candidates have crazy things they have done that would make them ineligible for our positions I find one of them was documented for hiding a KNIFE under his mattress and freaking the hell out of his roommates.  Upon confrontation, he lied to the police.  It was later determined that, indeed, it was his knife.

Dude, seriously?  (ps- cooincidently, I BELIEVE this is the same candidate my interviewer thought came across like a future serial killer.  Lovely.)
