I need to start having a different attitude about Monday. I just never am happy for Monday to come.
AF is here and I feel like shoveling food into me.
The one up side is the sun is out this morning. That makes life a bit more tolerable on a Monday morning. I think I just need to see warmth again. I loved the nights being light till almot 10 and feeling like I had more time after work.
af is just leaving here. i guess we're all in sync
dan never heard back about the job in ohio.
but his dad called and told him about a job in north carolina - and dan seemed interested in it. i'd be willing to bet he has his resume there within 2 days.
Morning! AF done Saturday. 10 days is always enough!!
Today I did a scheduling error. Carter's speech eval is at 10 and his 2 year check is at 11. Hoping the first goes fast and the second is running behind per usual!!
This also means I need to do a quick pick up for the speech teachers coming here. The house was great for Carter's party on Satuday, and now.....Ugh!!!
GM, geesh, I'm due any day. Well if we get grumpy, now we know why, lol.
I am so happy...SO HAPPY... that RA interviews are done.
Notorious moments
"Jenn, I think I just interviewed a future serial killer. Not kidding."
"Um, Jenn, That candidate just used the N word in our interview. I'm thinking no on that one."
"What do you mean I didn't have to be here until 1:45pm?!!" (staff member standing angrily in front of me at 8:45am who had not carefully read her interview assignments)
I don't know how it happens, but my house is a MESS. I seriously feel like I clean non-stop, and it still looks like we threw a frat party last night.
But on a nice note, we are hoping to get the ball rolling on replacing our floor next week. We are ripping out this nasty, stained, milk-stinking carpet and replacing it with laminate.
With the kids, dogs, cats, and husband, I felt like this was our most durable option.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I keep reading about how some of them use formaldehyde-based coatings, and so I'm super concerned. I didn't realize how complicated the laminate system is, lol!

I have to ask it: how do you resist smacking him in the head with a frying pan?
You should apply for a job in Alaska, and see what he thinks about that.
