i love a tree grows in brooklyn also. my favorite author is steinbeck. LOVE all of his stuff, especially east of eden. winter of our discontent is good too, and tortilla flat - very easy and quick, but in my opinion, says a lot. i also adore "in cold blood."
In Cold Blood is great.
