my ultrasound went well.

baby measured right on at 9 wks and hb was 173.

my hematoma is still there it measures 1.3 cm x 1 cm which is pretty small. so that is reassuring. i am happy to actually have measurements now.

the baby gave us a few wiggles.

took the boys to storytime at the library this morning. there were a ton of kids, the boys lost interest pretty quickly because it was so loud and busy.

having lunch now, then we'll be heading across town to tour one of the elementary schools there.

Even tho Timmy was induced a long time before arriving, the time from his first "REAL" contraction to birth was 8.5 hours.

Cecile's birth from first cntxn to birth was 4h10min.

Clara from first cntxn to birth was 2h15 min.

Kinda scary that each subsequent delivery time was nearly exactly halved...

does that mean this one will come in 1h5min???

I am still a mess. I had a huge coughing fit this morning on the way to work and almost peed my pants, good times!

this is how my Jake's started. He sneezed like a million times last weekend.
Yesterday they called me from school b/c he had a fever.
Today still a fever, lots of coughing, running nose and body aches all over.
Took him to dr - respiratory virus - has to run it's course.

We've snuggled on the couch and watched movies all afternoon

timmy was born on a friday.

with tim she waited till 13 days overdue to induce - because my cervix did not ripen at.all. the first week overdue i saw her every 2nd day, the second week i saw her daily. all tests were fine, it was because she was concerned about the placenta aging she does not like to go beyond 42 weeks. we did a real slow induction plan - we expected it to take a day or 2, because we first had to ripen/thin my cervix before seriously considering the real induction. it took 4 days LOL. (but agin, real labor was 8 hours.)

after tim i was adamant not to be induced ever again. with clara i was dialated 4cm nearly 4 weeks before she came - so my doc was happy to let me go up to 42 weeks, again as long as the checks all came back that baby was fine.

i imagine she will do the same with this one too.

my gyneo is a big believer in the womans body's ability to do what it needs.... i just love her!

oh and she found a mild ear infection - he said his ear doesn't even hurt so we caught that early!

and the resp virus is very contagious. Great.

It was exactly one month ago that that vomiting bug ripped through our house.

Now it will be the snotting, coughing, body ache bug bringing in February.

so see your babies like late in the week birth days. so maybe it will be later this week.

Crazy nutty stress.

why the hell did i do this to myself?

I told them at work today. They want to counter offer. I don't know what they could offer so I would stay but I am trying to leave gracefully without burning my bridges so I'm letting them discuss it.

Housewise, it isn't likely she'll accept the counter offer but the realtor says she's going to offer 190K and forgo the inspection (down from our 194K counter offer).
Maybe we'll hit middle ground at 192K? Or maybe we'll just accept.

WHY IS THIS SO HARD!

Might be having a nervous break down.

Ordering Thai food.

Kids nuts.

Need beer. Have no beer. Just told Mike we didn't need to go get it but I think I lied.

Need to escape. Run away.

Still have to tell client who is going to be so upset that I am leaving (hopefully disappointed upset not mad upset).
