this fight was over pullups.

she's not been in pull ups since sept and that was only at night.

yesterday her teachers (wisely) put her in one after her blowup at nap time. or rather, after the second blow up.

I let her sleep in one last night (just in case) and now she's screaming that she only wears pull ups.

repeat for my facebook friends, but it just cracked me up.

Koda:  "Mommy can you get off the computer for a minute?  I want to email all of my friends."

Kids have decided to gang up on me and declare if we do not go buy Clementine oranges this very minute they may just starve to death.  Not later.  Not next time.  Now.  Critically urgent, now.

At least they are demanding fruit and not candy I guess.

Jenn, I may demand the same thing!

At least that's better than the sausage and egg mcmuffin with peanut butter I was craving a few minutes ago.

(and no, I'm not pregnant, lmao)

Morning.

Glen and I are sick today.

Yesterday I had my sinus infection PLUS a bout with a horrendous stomach bug. That was awful.

The whole day, I was either in the bed or sitting on the toilet.

Thank goodness for my mom--who took Mark to preschool, then came to get him for a while in the afternoon.

When Glen got home from work, he complained that he was "stuffy all day".

Sorry, Glen, I won the who's-the-sickest game yesterday.

I feel better today because the stomach issues seem to be resolved but the sinus infection is going strong.

I'm disgusted with the house.

There is going to be a lot of throwing out going on today. I forsee much crying by small children.

Just tell them that you're putting toys in storage for a while to make more room.

Used to work when my boys were little.

Then they'd forget about them.

Woke up to multiple emergency system messages that were sent out via text and email last night.  Thank goodness I slept through it.  Crazy, below is the latest.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A University of Maine student was stabbed three times early Saturday morning and was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center, where he is in stable condition, according to Dean of Students Robert Dana. A suspect, also a UMaine student, has been taken into custody.

The incident started as a fight outside the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house when the student attempted to intervene and was stabbed. The assaulter fled the scene and was tracked by dogs, Dana said.

The sheriff’s office and Orono, Old Town and UMaine police responded to the incident. “They immediately had the situation in hand,” Dana said.

A text message alerting students of the assault was sent at approximately 4 a.m.

 That's so scary.

Especially since he was tying to break up a fight, you never know who's carrying a weapon these days.

Plans for this weekend?

Well last night I was supposed to go to a seminar on organization at Kimberly's church but I was too sick to go.

Today my church is having a hymn-a-thon to raise money for the music department.

Henry has one sponsor but now he is saying that he doesn't want to go. I think he just doesn't understand what it is. If he'd just go check it out, he'd have fun. He loves singing hymns.

The adult choir and Henry's choir (2nd - 5th grade) can come anytime between noon and 4pm, and they'll be singing ALL the hymns in the hymnal throughout the day. There will be a gong so audience members can gong songs they don't like (for $5). No one has to stay the whole time.

This evening, my Sunday school class is having game night in the gym at church. We can also use the youth room which has a Wii with games and accessories. I'm not sure I'll be feeling like going to that.

Tomorrow church in the morning and possibly a movie in the evening. "Lovely Bones", maybe?

I'm so sorry that I have to laugh everytime you talk about Josie.

I really hope I still know you when she's a teen.
