anybody have any thoughts on a good car.  I don't have any idea where to look...I love Hondas but that is about all.

Don wants to buy a new one, and I understand his thinking, but I can't stand having a car payment.  ugh.  I have making these types of decisions.

I think it all depends on what you want and need in a car.  When we were looking we chose a Toyota over a Honda because for us it was more economical. I have heard good things about the ford focus, nissan ultima and a few others too Before you get too caught up in which one you want, think about a few things it might help you decide.

Are you going to use this and need to stick a couple of kids in the back seat with Ivy?

Is mpg important to you?

At this point I am not willing to live without keyless entry.  What are some features that you must have?

I don't know about you two, but we also had a hard time finding vehicles that my dh can fit in comfortably.  I know in many cars his head hits the roof.

When we were looking for cars a couple of years ago, we looked at Toyota, Honda, and then bought Hyundais. Consumer Reports rated them very high. And since we ended up needing 2 at once, 'cause that's how our luck goes, it was more economical. We got the SUV Santa Fe. It's been great. It has 3 rows, like a van. We also got the Entourage. The only problem it had was a bad battery. It kept dieing and needing a jump. Finally got them to exchange the battery, and haven't had a problem with it since. They are both extremely SAFE cars, per Consume Reports. If I was getting a car, a small car, I would go with a Hybrid from Honda, like the Civic. They are great. Toyota Prius is an excellent car also.

One feature that the Entourage has is heated seats. I didn't want them, didn't want to pay extra for them....So, they didn't, they wanted to move the older model I got. I have to say, I don't think I'll buy another car without them. They are so freakn' fantastic! When you have cramps, hop in the car and drive to town. I am so spoiled now. LOL.
