I can't believe we're at the halfway point now. Things are going well, aside from this weird rash I have. It's the same thing that happened when I was pregnant with Kevin, a rash popped up around 18-19 weeks on my underarms, chest at the braline and inner thighs. It's really only itchy at night, doesn't bother too much during the day. Last time they could never figure out what it was, it sucked and still does again this time. I can't remember how long it lasted before, but I'm hoping it goes away soon.
I'm trying not to stress over my weight, but I already weigh as much now as I did when Kyle was about to be born! I don't even know what my starting weight was this time, I just know it's higher than I wanted to be, and I'm not paying attention to what I've gained so far. I NEED to find some motivation to get some exercise, but it's so hard. I'm so out of shape and feeling blah about it all.
We had the anatomical u/s last week and found out we're having a GIRL! I posted on fb about it but didn't post any pics. Here they are, as well as my belly shots at 16 and 20 wks.
I am so thrilled you are having a girl!!!!!!! What are you considering for names?
Sorry about the rash. Can you put anything on it like calamine lotion? I don't know it that would even help.
I think you look stunning in your new picture. Such a perfect baby bump! :heart
names, ay yi yi! :) We're undecided about whether to do another K name. We've been throwing some names around, but nothing we've fallen in love with yet. I need to check out the baby name wizard again.
I tried calamine lotion last night before bed, and it helped soothe for awhile. I can't even remember if I had received a prescription for something the last time it happened, but I know my OB sent me to a dermatologist then. I should look and see if I can find some info on that.
20 weeks?@?@ Seriously? WOW!!!! Yay for a little girl to add to your family. Thats so exciting! You look fabulous!!! And I really hope you can find some relief for that rash soon....(have you considered trying benedryl capsules? I have to take them sometimes to control my skins itchiness and it helps a ton! Of course I usually only take one vs the two that the "normal dose" is. )
