Morning!

Are you wearing any hair accessories right now? Do you ever wear hair accessories? What is your favorite?

I have some bright-colored clip-style hair barrettes that I like to wear sometimes. Each one has a flower on it. My favorite one was the yellow one but Mark broke it yesterday.

Usually I wear my hair down or pulled back with one boring hair band*.

*And I don't mean an 80's hair band.

Well, Glen caught my cold so he's staying home from work today.

After that announcement, Henry got in the bed with us then started whining/crying because his ear hurts.

So he's staying home from school.

I work today as a make-up day for the Monday holiday plus I told my neighbor that I'd take her son to preschool this morning when I took Mark.

Glen said he was going to go to the doc today, and Henry said he wanted to go to the doc.

Juggling all that is complicated but I think I have it figured out.

Henry's appt is at 1:50 pm, and my mom said she could watch Henry while Glen is at the doc.

So I can still go to work. Whew.

i'm quite annoyed. this morning started out just like yesterday - including the dog poop on the floor - except I had the added bonus of being awakened 4 times  from 3:30am - 4:something by dan's alarm clock. snooze, snooze, snooze ....

this is after i got bennett back to sleep at 3:00am.

then i got up at 6:00 to get all the kids in the car to drive jake to school.

so, so, so, so tired.

i am tired.

and bored.

this am i went through all the ski stuff in the basement, organised it and packed the kids bag for their ski vacation (with the inlaws) feb 13-20.  i need to buy some new skipants for cecile and new stuff for lala.

i figure its 1 less thing to do with a newborn.

now that my basement freezer is mostly empty (no more xmas cookies) i am thinking of doing some big cooking/freezing the next few days.

i just cant sit on my ass and rest. its so against my nature.

and there's nothing left to organise/arrange in my house at the moment.

i am  thinking to break out a big canvas to paint the wall hanging i have been planning in ceciles new room.

its inspired by murikami's flowers, like this:

http://www.artificialgallery.co.uk/shared/assets/ART001/5668/Flower.jpg

but i will change the colours to her room and have less white.  and probably make the flowers a big bigger.

the problem is, the canvas is big and i think my belly will get in the way.

ARGH!

Morning

NO to hair accessories.  I sometimes at home wear a hair scarf. I have no idea how the heck to describe it. I bought them at the gap. It is like a headband and the material hangs down. I pretty much just wear it at home though. I think at this age that subtle hair accessories are key.

I am so flippen sick and I better be well for Friday. I am at work, but I am so tired. I was up till 2am coughing up a lung. It is so gross how much mucus is in me. I have an apt. with an allergist tomorrow in hopes we can figure out what is going on. It has been a rough year on me with what I keep calling allergies. Everyone I talk to this year has said the same, so I wonder what the heck has changed.

Most of the time I wear my hair in a boring black pony tail holder but right now I'm wearing a scrunchie because I wear one to bed every night because they're more comfortable and I like my hair out of the way while I sleep.

I almost always wear my hair down.  Once in a blue moon I put a little of it back with a barrette or a head band.  My hair is really thick and it gives me a headache to wear it up.  Plus when I put it in a low pony tail that I look like I have a pea head on top of a watermelon body. lmao.gif

I hope all of you that are dealing with illness are feeling better soon.  We have colds here too, but am glad that it's this week and not next week.

I don't do hair accessories....very rarely I might use a barette or clip to get my bangs out of my face but I only do that in the house and only if there is absolutely nothing else I can do.
