Good Morning!

I'm looking forward to being able to go on family walks again come spring.

I'm looking forward to planning a big snow tubing day with the family.

I also just found out that my BIL is planning a party for FIL's 60th birthday this June at the family cabin in BFE Saskatchewan. That means a 16 hour drive and a two hour boat ride across the lake all to deal with billions of bugs and sleeping in a tent. (We got a room in the cabin the first time we went up, but were told no more since the cabin is shared by FIL and his 11 brothers and sisters.) Ugh!

Ugh.

that sounds "fun"

I just thought of something else I'm looking forward to!

DH and I are going downtown for 3 days this year (instead of our normal two), and I soooo need it! We are going the first week of March, so I'm hoping it's not freezing arse cold by then.

I got a slamming deal on Hotwire (we've stayed at this hotel before, and it's usually $179 a night- I got each room for $49 a night!)

I am thinking we are going to do Second City and Uno's for sure, but the rest is up in the air. Yay for stress-free getaways!

You are staying in the city for 50 a night, dang. you will have to pm me what hotel.

That sounds like such fun. I hope that Rich and I can do that this summer for a night. We could leave the girls with his Aunt. I just do not think we could for a whole weekend.

ok, i am in a mood already.

i don't know how we're going to keep a dog in this townhouse. i can't leave 3 small kids alone in the house to walk him across the court to go out. dan didn't take him out before he went to work (i guess because i didn't specifically ask him to :eyeroll: ) so the dog just shit and pissed on my carpet.

while i was cleaning that up bennett went in and dumped the dog food all over the floor.

then caroline went downstairs and hid in the coat closet.

i'm telling you i am DONE. FRIED. OVER.

oh - but on the bright side dan is planning to (or already did) apply for a job in the middle of nowhere ohio. because what i need is MORE isolation. :sigh:

Sara if its any consolation and it's probably not, my dog pooped ALLLLLLLLLLLL over the laundry room this morning. That all with all the extra l's does not even do it justice. It was diarrhea. SO ridiculously frustrating. I had to spend 25 minutes cleaning it up before I came to work.

Morning, you all have been busy this morning. I have not read everything yet because I am at work.

I feel so off today. I keep forgetting it is Tuesday and it throws me off.

I need a idea for a quick and healthy dinner tonight.

I am sick, again. This time I have this awful dry cough that keeps me up all night. I keep clearing my throat and it is so annoying. I also have a crushing feeling in my chest like I cannot take a full breath.

Sonya - that is so, so sad about your client. I do not even know what one says in a situation like that.

Sappy - I hope your day gets better. I imagine it would be hard to have a dog in that setting when you have no where to take him out.

Good morning!

What are you looking forward to?

Bored so I shall post.

I look forward to the end of this dental work. 6 fillings down, 6 more to go. And my oral surgery was scheduled for Feb. 12. There goes V-Day! LOL

I look forward to DH finding a job so that he can go to work again.

I look forward to regaining my sanity once DH goes back to work again.

I look forward to getting some things paid off once the taxes are done.

I look forward to my V-Day's gift most of all.

biggrin

honestly Kate doesn't have a squeeky voice.
Her problem is volume.
And when she screams or someone is teasing her.
Nearly busts my eardrums.

My niece who is 4.5 has a squeeky voice.
It drives me insane when we are around her.
I continual pray that Kate will not have a voice like hers.
I could not live with a voice like that.

My kids have always had hoarse sounding, scratchy voices.
Probably all the cigrettes I let them smoke.

aren't you up super early?

 suuuuuuuper early.

I've been up since 5:00.

Apparently a side effect from this diet.

I was on the diet site the other day and people were saying the same thing.

I guess you need less sleep.

Although I am going to bed a bit earlier these days.

I'm excited for you and your healthy changes!

Jules also has a perpetual volume problem.

She might be saying "shhhh, daddy is sleeping," which still comes out so loud that I'm certain the neighbors 1/4 mile away can hear her.

I sometimes just grab her head, twist it a little, and tell her I just turned the sound down. She laughs and quiets down for about 30 seconds, and then back to normal.

She's like the opposite of the quiet talker on Seinfeld- she's the loud talker. The really loud talker.

I'm sorry you are having a shitty (sorry, had to be said) day.

Good morning!

I'm looking forward to... uhm, I'd say my birthday, but I've been so stressed that I don't think it's going to be enjoyable... so, I'll just say Joe getting a new job, because his current one is what's making me lose my ever loving mind.

i'm counting down the hours until mike comes home.

i'm trying to work and take care of the kids.

my "nap time" was blown by Josie falling asleep on the couch watching Monsters Inc.

She'll never take her real nap now. wahhhhhh.

I told Mike he had to come home right after his class so I can go work at a coffee shop for a few hours.

I am looking forward to:

Longer days and sunshine

Playing outside

No coats

DISNEY WORLD and the rest of my Florida trip in a week

Getting things cleaned out and organized in this house

Sara, you have me curious where in Ohio that job is.  I lived in the middle of nowhere for quite sometime there.  Between Leah and I there's a good chance we know where it is and something about it.  I hope your day gets better

Kristi I have thought about that surgery but not sure I am brave enough to do it.  If you are comfortable with it, let me know what you think after you have it done.

Sonya I hope the moons and stars converge to make some type of phenomenon and your children are happy, quiet and self entertaining and take naps.

As for the high pitched screaming or whatever you want to call it, I have just decided to try and just accept it.  Nothing I have tried altered it, so I just endure the nasty looks of others and try my best not to let it get on my nerves.

It doesn't need its own thread, so I'll stick it in the middle of here.  I could use some positive thoughts.  I am so far behind, and so beyond stressed with my job.  Missing a week was horrible, but on top of that we have been unable to find babysitters this semester so we are juggling the kids- which means no work gets done- and I get further behind.

I already despise this semester.  We are only 1.5 weeks in.

 Ugh. that stinks. :(

January is such a hard months and being in a university must make it worse.
