Another update. No twins. Hematoma just like Megan said. Baby is doing great!
I am SO relieved that the baby is going great!!!!
I had the hematoma issue with Anna (at about 9ish weeks), and I was definitely convinced I was going to lose her. It turned out to be nbd at all after they knew what it was.
Phew!!! Thanks again April-I have been very down in the dumps about this since Sara posted last night.
TY soooooooooooo much for all the prayers girls! They definitely worked.
I had pretty much written this little one off and have since apologized to him/her.
They had me go down for the u/s for a heartbeat check baby hb was 159 and the tech was like this sac here could've been a twin. I said, I just had an u/s on Mon and it was vaginal. This one was only abdominal anyways. Sent back down to the triage room and the doctor called back and wanted me back in u/s to take pics of everything. That time baby's hb was 161. And measured right on at 7 wk 5 days all times. She took all sorts of pics then I had to wait for the doc on call as she wanted to talk to me.
She explained that baby looks great and I have the subchronic hemorage/hemotoma thing that Megan linked me to in the other thread. She said it is a small one and shouldn't be much of an issue as they are very common. She also told me I might bleed more or I might not. I told her but my gosh that was such a huge clot. She had me explain the size then said it sounded right about the size and length of my cervix and that it had probably been sitting there for a while and something jarred it loose.
As always still lots of prayers getting through the rest of this 1T and pregnancy for that matter.

I am soooo thrilled and relieved for you, Sara! I had a feeling it was going to be alright! Yay!
(I had very similar experiences in two of my pregnancies -- Holly and Evie. Convinced I'd lost them...but nope, girls just like to be drama queens from the get go! I hope you're thinking pink! )

LOL, that reminds me. When I went in for Owen and had it, it was right before Thanksgiving and he said "just to be on the safe side, no sex until the second trimester...Happy Thanksgiving!" I laughed my ass off, I thought it was so funny. Doug, not so much when I told him. He said the sex part was more to kind of prevent the bleeding and me freaking out if it did bleed, not that it would cause a miscarriage, kwim?
anyway, still so happy and thrilled. Amazing news.
