oh no on Bryson and Bennett...poor guys!

Amber, I still every time I type Bryson type Bryce first then have to backspace..lol

Keegan slept A LOT better. He went down at 6:45 woke at 10:30 then slept until 7. He is still majorly snotty though and kind of just laying around not his normal go, go, go.

Let us know what you find out if you take little man in.

Morning girls!

Looooong night over here. Bryson was up all night. Croup maybe? I'm so not sure. He's up and playing and ate his breakfast. I'm so over the sickness I don't even know what else to say about it. Whatever is wrong is worse when he lays down for nap or bed. Doesn't seem textbook croup to me but he's somewhat barky and has congestion with a yucky cough. Might be making a trip to a new ped today.

Sara how is Keegan? Did he sleep better last night?

boo cry

bennett is sick too. he's on antibiotics for a sinus infection. it was so bad the snot was coming out his eyes. blech.

Wow, that is an incredibly horrible mental image. Poor babies!

That is so great, Sonya. It really makes me happy and reminds me that no matter the issues in life, people are good.

We are raising money here too at that school on a different level. The classrooms are all collecting. It is hard to explain to young children, but they know they are helping other kids.

I am kind of struggling in how to talk to the girls about all of this. The pictures are horrible, so I don't really want them to see that, and Dani seemed afraid that their could be earthquakes like that here.

I had her help me send the donation (just the text message on George's and mine phones), but I wish their was another way she could contribute.

I wonder if her school is doing anything?

personally and on the advice of psychologist. I do not think young children should be watching or hearing the news. They do not know what to do with those images and internalize it and it scares them. They feel unsafe and do not usually talk about it.

Here when there is a tradegy they tend to have a chapel and say a prayer. It is a Christian based school though. They then talk about charity and helping others that are in need, hurt, etc. I think schools need to leave the topic of death up to parents, but that is me.

I can send you a list of ideas for kids to help if you like. Maybe she can suggest to her class to raise pennies or change for the children of Haiti?  Kids like to know they are helping other children.

Ugh that is miserable cry Such a horrible winter. I'm pretty sure B has croup now after doing some more reading on it. Not much that can be done unless he has trouble breathing. I don't have a clue where we picked up croup. We've been pretty much house confined since last Wednesday.

LOL about Bryce/Bryson Sara!

Poor Keegan too. I swear it's like no one can catch a break!

I did just talk to Kent's mom she said he's clingy and blah but not really coughing. He was croupy when he woke up which seems typical with croup so I don't know what i'll do.

GM Ladies.

Yeah I am trying something new with Faith to hopefully get her to be without a 3 hour fight.

I'm sitting in her room by the door until she is asleep. Last night was the first night and she was out in 30 Min. She did wake one more time screaming so I went back down there and sat for maybe another 10 Min and she was out. She did however come to my bed about 3-4 so I just pulled her into bed with me.

I'm so hopeing this works. I am at my wits end and I hate that she gets me so upset.

Oh, man!

I hope Bennett, Bryson, and Keegan feel better asap!

We are having unseasonably warm weather, which is lovely. I have a million things to get done today before Joe's sister comes over with the huge ass bar I was talking about the other day. I'm in a bit of a funk, so I'm going to try to pull myself out of it with excessive cleaning. I even bought myself a foxy polka dot broom and a few new cleaning supplies this morning. I've gotten some things done, but I'm going to crank up some music and really lay into the house once I go pick up Hannah.

Poor sick kiddos. I hope everyone gets over all this crud soon.

Seems like my kids have actually been lucky lately. We did have a quick stomach bug run through the house but that is the worst of it this winter. (So far).

I hate that so many kids are not feeling well.

Mine are finally both fine. *knock on wood*

Mark is at preschool right now, and my mom is going to get him at noon.

I'm going to take lunch to Henry at school, then help his class start their Science Fair experiments.

Fun! (I hope.)

i am thinking about school again.

i need some sort of career.

i just wish i had a passion for something so i would have a clear path in front of me.

i think it's past time to think about what i want to do and start thinking about what will work for my family and earn me the most money.

i don't want to do health care though. i've had enough with everything with mikey.

i want to do something where i work mostly alone - i'm totally not a great "team" employee. and i want to do something with numbers i think. i haven't taken math in a zillion years but i have a great memory for numbers and i love that there is a single right answer to a math problem.

so any ideas for me?

oh, and i'd prefer something i can do with a 2 year degree?

ITU

Good luck!

oops, was suppose to quote you sapppy

Not sure what type of money you want to make.

Banks need auditors and there are a lot of behind the scenes jobs where you do not have customer contact. I am not sure what is out there though. Many finance jobs have been cut and banks are really getting rid of so many jobs because of technology :(

Hmm, have to think about it. Not sure what the job market is like there. I know my one cousin who graduated from Brown took over a year to land a job in chicago in finance. He now has a job, but not in finance.

There is something out there for you. Have you looked through job listings to see if anything strikes you and then go from there in terms of school??
