I'm getting so excited. Feb 18th we leave for Disney world. I've never been on vacation or any where like Disney world. Geeze I've never even seen a "real" beach.
Braxton is going to love it. To bad Faith has to stay here.
oh dear lord is this day over yet? my kids have been beyond rotten. already.
i'm so sorry. mine have been absolute horrors. i need a February santa to threaten them with.
I'm so grateful for daycare today. I was gleeful dropping them off.
i am so jealous. days like today make me wish i could earn enough money to justify daycare. seriously. my kids and i don't like each other much at all today.
i'm so happy. my bff and i just arranged to go to dinner/shopping tonight.
I'm thrilled.
i really really really need to get away from my family for the night.
Good for you Sonya! I got to go to dinner for moms night out last night and I needed it so bad. I think my kids have cabin fever from being cooped up for days because of being sick and I was seriously ready to drink a bottle of tequila last night and I don't really drink. LMAO.

That sounds wonderful Sonya.
Its seems like FOREVER Since I have been out with the girls. My friends are really into bowling right now and with my Back and Ankle there is no way I could bowl.
I'm starting a splurge girl group with a couple of my IRL friends.
there will be 6 or 12 of us. we will each put in 20-30 dollars each month (to be determined) and will meet each month (or every second month if there are only 6 of us).
each person gets picked once in the year (by draw) and they get the pot and then they host the next event.
the rule is you have to spend the money on yourself, a splurge, and you can't pay bills, buy something for the kids, your house, etc.
at the next meeting (where you host) you show off your splurge.

doesn't that sound fun?
That sounds awesome. Where did you get that idea from?

my sil is in two different groups. she said it is just amazing how close these girls have gotten.
what is nice is if you can get a small group together and then have everyone invite a friend - a nice way to meet new people.
she said that at their first or second meet up, someone brought a box of conversation questions and she said it totally changed the dynamics of the group. they've gotten much closer because of that.
My coworkers and I are having an after holidays celebration next year.
We've all agreed to bring in all the "stuff" you get that you were never going to use, but can't really return. Potluck, plus a stuff swap. Hopefully, folks will either wlak out with things they would have wanted to begin with, or at least not have t ostore stuff they don't. We'll bring the things NO one wants to goodwill :)
