Josie is back at school. I dropped them off in the morning and worked at a coffee shop until I went back to the daycare to meet them for skating - hilarious and adorable. I'm going to try to go as much as I can to help out.

Can you imagine the chaos of taking 27 3 to 5 yr olds skating? It was actually the smoothest it has ever gone, the teachers said.

After skating, I picked Josie up and took her home with me to nap. She was just kind of playing by herself and really looked like she could use some home time. I should have taken Charlie with me because he was obviously suffering from the lack of sleep the night before.

He had a total freak out on the way home. we walked up to pick mike up at his office and charlie lost his mind when we didn't let him open a door himself. Complete on the floor freakout. We had to carry him kicking and screaming back to the car. I'm sure it looked like we were kidnapping him. Josie kept saying "Charlie's acting like a baby", lol. He freaked out the whole way home, at home, calmed down to eat supper and then started back up again. It was not a pleasant night at our house.

Working from home today, too. I don't think I have any retro pictures of me online...I'll see if I can scan something in later.

We are taking the kids away this weekend - Rocking Horse Ranch in upstate NY. It should be fun. We are going with 3 other families. But it is all inclusive, with chefs in training from the Culinary Institute of America. I am going to need lots of willpower to eat right. I can almost guarantee a gain next Tuesday - UGH!

Sonya, I have such little patience for cranky, irritable kids. Hopefully Charlie has a better day today.

Alicia, that sounds SO fun. I am feeling much in need of a mini vacation. Too bad I'm totally broke. lol.

I think you should enjoy yourself (in moderation) and focus on being good next week.

Sonya, the skating sounds too cute!

Alicia how fun!!

I have no pics uploaded and am to darn lazy to hook up the scanner to scan some in.

I was up all night with a grumpy baby. Not sure what his issue is/was. He has a snotty nose now and is an absolute bear!

I actually went with my family when I was about 10 years old.  I remember LOVING it.  They have since renovated the facilities and rooms and added a small indoor water park, but I think for the most part, the concept is the same.  Horseback riding, snow tubing, horse drawn sleigh rides, bonfires with hot chocolate, and some cute family shows at night.  I'll let you know if it as fun as I remember.

I have never known someone who went. I came across a brochure for it and sounded awesome. When the girls get a bit older I plan to go if it is good and still around :) I hope you have a blast. I want to go right now with you.

my scale says I weight 107 this morning!

That water really works, lmao.

Only off by 40 lbs. I guess it's time for a new scale.

Good Morning!

Carter, who has had a runny nose all week, woke up with a horrible cough. It's bad enough that I'm considering taking him in. I have my 6 month old niece though this morning too. Plus, I have three neighbor kids tonight for a few hours. How I wish my kids would get and stay well so I can make it to the gym more than once a week!!!

Alicia, your getaway sounds fabulous!!

Alicia I LOVE your vintage Natalie siggy heart.gif and your retro pic LOL! Especially your hair!

Sara sorry Keegan is having a rough time boy do I know how that goes.

Stacey i'm sorry to hear about Carter :( I can totally relate. I spent 3 hours at the pedi for Hannah on Monday. Sigh. I hope he's feeling better soon.

Stacey, I hope Carter feels better soon.  I feel so bad for them when they have horrible coughs.

Sounds like you are going to have your hands full with a bunch of extra kids.  Hopefully the day goes well.
