do you guys have TVs in your kitchen? i feel like i really need one. all this quiet time is killing me, and i dont want to end up "on the couch" all the time in the TV room. my kids play independently all the time, and i'm starting to feel so lonely! i need the noise!
Yes I have one in the kitchen and I love it. I use it in the mornings when making lunches for school and stuff. I can watch the weather forecast for the day or the Today Show or whatever. Sometimes the girls will watch a show while eating breakfast but lunch and dinner it is not on. I am strict about our family meal time.
We do but it is a tiny little TV that isn't connected to anything so it doesn't really get any channels. It is where we hooked up Gavin's vtech game thing so that is what we use it for. I don't want a TV in their room so I put it on our bar and we keep it tucked away. I want him to still be in the living areas when he is playing it so we did that.
Like Robin I can pretty much see/hear our big TV in the living room from the kitchen. I do want some ipod speakers or some kind of music player in the kitchen for me.
