Ugh, cold sores SUCK. Have you tried Abrevia, or even Hurricane gel? My sister gets them pretty frequently, and has good success with those products.

And CONGRATS again on your graduation! You must be so stoked- you worked so hard for this!!

so far i've treated it with: abreva, nail polish remove and some organic super lysine stuff

i'm also only eating foods high in lysine (potatos with skins alll day) and am drinking licorice tea

i'm like a hodge podge of google treatments

now off to google hurricane gel...

D, I unfortanately get these once or twice a year, sometimes 3 if i'm lucky. Sigh. If it just popped up this morning get some abreva (expensive but if it's just starting may really help keep it minimized). Also the campho phenique is very drying. You can also take lysine or get some lysine ointment which has done wonders for me in the past. I'm actually just getting over one and they suck so bad cry

Ah good. I see you've started all the stuff. Just keep on it and maybe it won't break open all the way especially if you caught it early. Sorry girly. I've never heard of hurricane gel myself, and i've definitely never heard of using nail polish remover??

Let's see the routine is pretty much back. I miss break LOL. Just nice not having to hurry around in the morning. I've had an AWFUL time with mornings lately especially for work. Hate em.

Bryson threw up last night after dinner. He didn't seem super unwell. He went to bed and slept all night. He's up and around this morning and had one plain waffle and water for breakfast. I'm praying whatever it was, was worked out in the one episode. I've been hearing horror stories about the stomach bugs going around.

i did just graduate, but in texas you need a 5 years (150 hours of college credit) to be eligible to take the CPA exam

so i'm going to keep going to school this year to get my 5th year of credits completed.

in a perfect world, I'll start an MBA in the fall

Melissa - that sucks about your pinched nerve

any chance you can make it to a chiro or something?

sitting + pinched nerve = hell

ETA: change hello into hell

I went to the chiro yesterday evening and it is what got rid of my migraine. I agree that sitting = hell. I am experiencing that right now at work. I should have stayed home.

Howdy!

We are no where near routine here.  E started back to 5 days a week preschool, but it didn't start until Tuesday, and today it's closed because of the snow storm.  So I think this week is just going to be what it's going to be.

Since Alicia currently is not able to do her amazing talent with siggies, I took a shot at make my own.  Granted it took me awhile, but I don't think it came out too bad.  Of course that is about the only thing I have accomplished today. lmao.gif

Melissa I hope you are feeling better soon.  That is so painful.

Dorian, clap.gif on the graduation and hope your efforts thwart that cold sore.

I know they're doing their job and trying to make money but I really HATE dealing with the Radio Shack employees.

I went in to get a battery for one of our cordless phones and he tried to tell me that I was waisting my money and that I should buy a whole new phone system.

Oh and he happened to have just the system right there for me to buy.

:eyeroll

I should have been in and out in 5 minutes and it took 10.

DON'T mess with a lady on the 4th day of her diet.
