I'm on vacation today. It wasn't planned but I need to go finish getting the house ready.

today i am taking mikey to get blood counts checked (probably needs blood and/or platelets). he also has a speech/feeding therapy appointment at 2:00 at the same hospital so i'm hoping i can squeeze that one in.

tomorrow jake has an ortho appt.
wednesday caroline has two appointments and jake has one.
thursday i have something? (can't remember)
friday we take possession of the new townhouse and saturday we're scheduled to move in. (it's supposed to be a high of 9 degrees on saturday - stupid chicago winter)

Good morning girls!

I'm at work. I don't think I will ever ever be a morning person. I hate getting up this early for work.

Hannah goes back to school today :( Back to the schedule. I loved break, staying up a little later, sleeping much later. Come on summer!

I work today and tomorrow. Going to need to go to Costco and do other shopping on Wednesday. Thursday Hannah has dance and on Friday my friend Bonnie is coming into town with her son. We are going to let the kids catch up and we will be doing some scrapbooking!

Cole is back to school tomorrow assuming he's fever free (meaning, he's NOT back to school tomorrow hmm

so yeah, i have one weekday this MONTH that we don't have an appointment for someone, somewhere. it's a crazy time for us with all of mikey's therapies (ST, OT and soon PT), caroline's social work and psych appts, jake's teeth and social work appts...)

Danielle went back to school this morning, and Jules goes back this afternoon. The beautiful part of that is that I don't have school until Jan 18, so that's two weeks of quiet time.

Good morning!

We start back into our new routine tomorrow. E starts preschool five mornings a week instead of three now. Today I think we are going to stay in. I don't like going out when it's cold. The rest of the week I need to do exciting things like grocery shopping.

Yesterday was our anniversary and it turned out pretty nice. Dh and I spent the most time alone in years. It was nice and I now have a new cell phone instead of the cheapo replacement I had been using. It's not an I phone, but I like it. It has a 5 mega pixel camera/w flash. I am just thrilled to have picture capability again. biggrin

We also have been talking more about our disney world trip. I am getting so excited, but boy there is so much to think about even though we were in Disneyland in April. This time we are going longer and of course, it's in Florida.

D- I hope Cole is feeling better

Hey girls.

We don't have much going on this week. The house is in shambles, and I need to take care of that... We are going to do a playdate or two, because I'm in the height of my seasonal depression. I'm still fighting with one of my sister's, and I'm in a major, major funk about the whole thing.

Hannah started back to school today. The morning was not kind. We woke up nearly an hour late, and it's SO hard to get out the door normally - much less when we've got no clothes together, Joe's late for a conference call, Hannah's wanting to play ds instead of eat, etc. etc. Right now, I'm on my way over to Joe's grandparents. Hannah threw a major Naomi Campbell style fit, which at her age we are now at a zero tolerance policy for, and we hauled azz out of there at their NYD, so quickly that we forgot her play/school shoes.

I'm not a huge fan of going there without protection, by myself, so hopefully everything is fine.

we have Cole's next IEP next week, and I'm really feeling blah about it all.
