hahahaha! Yep I love the cruiser! Saw it in person at wal-mart last night. Super cute. It stinks because Christmas is over and her birthday isn't until July... I know we have Vday and Easter but those are not super huge toy holidays LMAO. We are starting a new responsibility chart however and there will be special prizes so those will probably be LPS. I'm at a loss for what i'll do if she decides LPS are no longer cool????

lmao

Joe asked me a few weeks ago if I though we should start doing a little gift at Valentine's Day, just to have a little extra to look forward to doing for Hannah between Christmas and Easter.

I nearly nutted myself.

I already have planned out in my head a few tiny things (probably a lps, and a Cahootie, and some small candy) - but I think the cruiser will need to be in her Easter basket (we usually do one toy with all the smaller stuff.)

Yeah, I will cry when we get past the lps phase. It's mega fun.

What the eff is a cahootie?? Wait... do I really want to know?? juggle.gif

lmao, you'll probably recognize them when you see it, because they used to be really popular to make yourself when I was younger... but these are way cuter than the ones I can make, and more durable. Nothing fancy, but just something cute, lol.

you're welcome

it should get unstuck from your head sometime in 2011

Why, with that disclaimer, I even looked at it with Hannah in the same zip code, I have NO idea.

my brother's flight just cancelled because of the weather. they are at the airport and i'm hoping they'll take the shuttle to the hotel next door to us and stay here tonight. i'm disappointed for them that they don't get a day at home before they have to go back to work but selfishly, I'd really like to see them again tonight.

Sorry for them re: the flight and going straight back to work, but I'm excited for you. Having great sibs is so nice... I spent the night at my sister's NYE, and she called this morning to see what I was doing, and I was considering going up there for the 3rd day this week, lol. I hope you guys get some more time together!

Hi!

I didn't really have plans for the day but I ended up taking Henry to Saturday clinic--ear infection confirmed--then shopping with my mom.

I noticed some [super butt-ugly] insulated curtains on a search on the computer the other day and was afraid Glen was going to get some for Mark's room without consulting me.

Fortunately he mentioned them so I could tell him DO NOT buy ugly curtains for Mark's room. I have BIG plans for that room--to make it "big boy" and cute.

He said, "What do you mean? I was thinking burgundy insulated curtains."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Anyway I did an online search for lime-colored thermal curtains and found some at JCP so my mom and I went to the store to see if they had them there. Of course they didn't.

But--Target did! Well, in turquoise instead of lime but much much better than burgundy. (Or navy, the other color Glen suggested.)

Mark's new curtains look great.

Hopefully they'll keep his room a bit warmer.

He has a bay window (and the room at the end of the house so the wall is cold), and it is always chillier in there.

I did warn him before I went shopping that I was going to get him "Hulk" curtains (lime green), then came home with turquoise.

He wasn't thrilled but he got over it.

Can I(meaning Raven) use a cake mix in the easy bake oven instead of their mix? I'm not paying 5-6$ for their mix.

Alicia, Hannah got an easy bake for Christmas and my mil found a bunch of recipes online so you don't have to buy the mixes! I don't know if you can just use a regular mix or not. I think she just googled easy bake oven recipes and brought over all kinds of recipes for mixes and frosting and stuff.

We are going to try the 2 layer pink barbie cake first. Said said you could mix a box cake mix with some water also.
